I was sold a 2012 corvette from mershons. I wasn’t able to go out to mershons do to the distance between us. I texted and emailed ***** about the state of the car. He insured to me that the car was ran great and had no problems. I went as far to even ask them about the bose sound system which I was told Sounded great. I still have those text and emails. I was told they were replacing the master cylinder and clutch plate and it would be good to go. Upon receiving the car the speakers were blown and there were several service lights on. Service electrical system and service magnetic ride control. I was told that it needed some sensors installed. I agreed to installing them to get the car early. When I received them it was a delete kit for the magnetic ride. I called and told them. I want the magnetic ride to work and not deleted. I was very upset. I took the car in to a Chevy dealer and was told it needed over 6k worth of work. I called them and said I’m sending the car back. So they said they would pick it up and fix it. They had a truck pick the car up. They sent me the car back. All they did was install the delete kit for the magnetic ride which I said I didn’t want. The speakers were still blown and they said they replaced the brakes when all they did was spray them with a stop squeak. They said they couldn’t figure out the service electrical system. So they just don’t know. I called and they said they must have bought bad speakers and they would send new ones out. I’ve reached out to them for the past few months and they won’t respond. I paid top dollar for this corvette. I figured them being a strictly corvette dealership they would take pride in that. That wasn’t the case. I got screwed. I don’t know were to go from here. I don’t know if I should call a lawyer or what. Please help. Have more pictures upon request.

I traded two of my Corvettes for a 1966 Corvette convertible, stock number 10257, $129,700

My two Corvettes were in excellent condition. Mershons were able to sell them in a short period of time one for $79,900, the other $89,900.

I had purchased a Corvette from them a few years ago, so I trusted them and was assured by the owner that the 1966 Corvette would be fully inspected and we would be very happy with this car.

Here are a list of things that didn’t work properly:

      No brake lights

      Horn not working

      Turn signals

      Headlights (Still not working good)

      Clutch

      Pressure plate

      Throw out bearing’s(Badly worn)

      Fuel gauge

Starter (It would start but have to cool completely to restart)

Grinding and vibrating in rear of car(A mechanic checked it out had to add slip additive to it).

I contacted Mershons in the Beginning and was sent a check for $1250. That wasn’t nearly enough.

We have done most of the work ourselves to keep expenses down, but there were some things that we didn’t have the proper tools for.

Because of all the problems we were unable to drive the Corvette for 7 months. Different problems kept popping up, was only able to work at it on nights and weekends. We contacted Mershons A second time but didn’t get anything.

I’m a fair and honest citizen and wish something could be done in regard to all the problems and unknown expenses.

Isn’t it unlawful to sell a car with these safety issues?

It has been frustrating and disappointing to say the least. Hoping someone doesn’t have a similar experience.
