I paid Dicksons Diesel a $5,000 deposit to rebuild the motor of my tow truck. Once the money was given to Dicksons he became very hard to reach and kept getting caught in lies about working on my truck. He took my money and never started to work on the vehicle until I went to the machine shop to track down my motor. The machine shop didn't have the motor but let Dicksons know I had been there looking and was probably upset. That caused Dicksons to finally start working know my truck after 3 weeks. The motor was pulled that next day and one more day after that the cylinder and head was dropped off at the machine shop. I have not been able to contact Dicksons since. He has taken my $5K and my truck and refuses to answer me. I will be showing up tomorrow with the Sherrifs to retrieve my possessions. Please don't let someone else go through this. Dicksons has a very bad track history with doing this same exact thing. He's is very agressive and has threatened violence in the pastInitial Complaint

I had Taken my truck to get fixed to this shop evan took in the truck told us it will last no more then 2 weeks working on the truck and ended up taking almost 6 month fixing the truck he would not answer my calls or text most of the time. he would lie and say it would be ready every friday untill april he told us car was ready so i went to pick up the truck and the truck was in the same conditions even worst then it was. my truck was never leaking when first brought to him and now my truck is leaking oil and i have called and left him messeges but he has me blocked and i just waisted 8,000 for nothing now i have to find a new mechanic and get it fixBusiness response

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This is her husband's truck not hers. I fixed the cylinder head. I explained to them that the truck had additional issues. They were angry and filed a complaint against me. When I saw the complaint I reached out to them to resolve the issue. At this time, I believe they are satisfied.Customer response

Better Business Bureau: he did reach out to us and said he would fix our car and would fix the leak it had and i agreed and we did take the truck back but the truck was still leaking when we got it back the truck was still leaking and decided to take it to another shop we waisted time and money for our truck not to get fix.
