In January 2021, BBB opened an investigation on Caturday, a reseller of the popular cat toy, Floppy Fish (tm) and other items for cat lovers. BBB has received many consumer complaints and Customer Reviews indicating merchandise ordered and paid for was not delivered, or was made from inferior material and was nothing like the advertisement. Some consumers have reported their items came from China. Some consumers report having received fake tracking information. Since opening our file in January 2020, BBB has received complaints and Customer Reviews on Caturday which also goes by Cat Butt Tissue Dispenser. Consumers told BBB they have been unable to return items, as they must be shipped back to China. BBB checked the US Post Office International Mail Guidelines and found that since Monday, Feb. 10, 2020, the US Post Office temporarily suspended the guarantee on Priority Mail Express International items destined for China and Hong Kong. Since at least January 2020, the address Caturday has used according to the Delaware County Auditor's office is a private residential address in Sunbury, Ohio. BBB verified with the Ohio Secretry of Sttae's office that there is no corporation filing under the names Caturday or Cat Butt Tissue Dispenser as of January 30, 2021. BBB has learned the site is hosted by Shopify, a Canadian webhosting service which often hosts Chinese sellers. Many consumers told BBB they ordered from Caturday thfrom a Facebook ad. 

If you are considering making a purchase online, please carefully consider the following: 

- Use a company you know has a good track record.
- If there are any questions, look them up, do your research and know where it’s coming from beforehand,
- It can take 6 weeks for an item to arrive in the U.S. from Asia, or it may even take months.
- Returning an item to China is expensive. If you are unhappy with the item, it is going to be a huge hassle to return it.
- Goods made in China are typically made with materials of lesser quality. Since the quality is inferior, the product may fall apart quickly. Returning may not be cost-effective or possible. 
- Some Chinese vendors write fake positive reviews for their own products.
