As a contractor thought Gigspot, I complete a mystery shopping job for The Elite-CXS Group in Feb 2024 and I have not been paid as promised ($90). Pay statement attached.Business response

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take your concerns and frustrations very seriously.
If you recall, Spot Media LLC / GigSpot operates only as an exchange to connect independent contractors with third-party companies so that they may establish a business relationship with each other. Accordingly, we do not participate in that legal relationship - it exists solely between you and the third-party company. As specified in sections 12 and 15 of the GigSpot Terms of Use policy, it is noted that no contractual obligations arise from Spot Media LLC / GigSpot because of an independent contractor choosing to sign a Client Agreement with a third-party company. In this scenario, the services performed by an independent contractor for the third-party client company, Elite CX Solutions, extend no contractual rights or duties between the independent contractor and Spot Media LLC. The business is spot media LC llc and I think this is a scam they said they would mail me a cashier check to purchase the things I need to purchase to be a secret shopper and report give reports of my customer experience to them as a third party individual contractor employee I signed the paperwork on *** **** which is a app that you get gigs off of us and they sent the check like they said it was a cashier check I'm over deposited thinking that it was all of the job cuz they sent what I was supposed to do with the money and then I looked on it it happened June 1st June 2nd at 2:30 in the morning I look on my account and my account is a negative amount for that cashier check so they should be the ones that fought for scamming me and sending the cashier check I thought of cash your check was like a check but like a money order which mean in that the money is already tied to the cashier checking all they will have to do is running through in cash it wouldn't be a wait time so I thought that they couldn't scam you like that and now my account is a negative over $1,000 but I think that needs to be adjusted but I really need help and spreading the word about this business and it's scam and if it's possible to find this scam company and find them or punish them they definitely should get some type of punishment now I have to close all my bank account because I don't have the money to pay that back so please give me a message and let me know that you guys are going to be working on it and I appreciate it thank you so much hope to talk to you soon
