I have contracted with *************** of Wide Open Property Maintenance for eight years, ending that business relationship in the fall 2021 because of his dishonest business practices. However, he continues to do work for a neighboring property and has caused damage to my property because of his shoddy work practices. In addition, I have incurred expenses in having his intentional damage to my property resolved. This has been an ongoing problem in the last year, since I severed the business association between the two of us. Initially ***** installed mulch on my neighbors property knowing that there were no methods of keeping that mulch in place. There were no bed borders or flowerbed trenches in place to prevent the mulch from spreading onto my property. I ended up having the neighbors mulch laying in my drive every time it rained. In addition, I had to have driveway pressure washed due to the black mulch causing wide range staining. ***** insisted that the stains on my drive were from grass edging along the drive and not a result of mulch staining. Even though the staining was obviously black and not brown, which is the color of the soil, he would not recognize his need to stop the issues. He just continued to gaslight and insist that the black dye and runoff was not the problem. At that point I contacted the home owner and she contracted ***** to dig flower bed trenches around the mulch to keep it in place. That would have corrected the problem if ***** had not ran the ditch directly onto my driveway and even digging a drain off path directly on to my property. Im now experiencing the very same problem. I end up with large amounts mulch with every rain fall and ever spreading black stains on my drive. I attempted to to contact *****, along with the homeowner to reach a resolution. ****** response was to my request that he fix the problem was, stop harassing me. My next step was to contact the mayor of ******** who contacted *****.Initial Complaint

***** ****** owner, put in a new patio last summer (July 2020). Said he would come back the following summer to seal it. I have sent SEVERAL texts, emails and left voice messages since (July 2021) and he will not return any messages. I would just like him to complete his job - he has been paid in full.Business response

In response to the complaint that we have received, We would like to make it aware that the customer did not pay for sealing of her patio. I did suggest that the should have it sealed. I also responded to **** ******** via email. I informed her that we would not be able to seal her patio this year due to workload and staffing issues due to the pandemic. I would be more than glad to show proof of her signed contract with us that states she did not pay for or purchase any services we did not complete.
