They charged $240 and never touched my hot water tank. Never brought a tool in, said they would need to come back. Money did not apply to fixing the issues. Was at my business for less then 15 minutes and never did anything. And still charged $240.

Very disappointed. My mom has been a customer for several years. She had the yearly maintenance contract. All was fine until this past fall when they said she needed a new heating and air conditioning system. The current unit is only 11 years old. She lives by herself and they convinced her it was too old and leaking, so a new one had to be installed. The price quoted was $10,349.00. Her house is only 1,661sqft. She signed an estimate, not a contract. When my brother and I found out we were not happy. My brother was there the morning that the installers came and told them we were getting a second opinion and refused the installation. After the installers left, the office called my mom and told her she now owed them $500 because she signed a CONTRACT, and they brought the unit from their warehouse in Dayton. (She lives in Huber Heights, long drive, I know.) Before we could get a copy of the ESTIMATE she signed, she took a $500 check to them. NO WHERE on the ESTIMATE did it say that there was a "restocking fee". Results of the second opinion: $912 for a new seal, including labor. AND they said the unit will likely last another 5 or 6 years. We will no longer be using Ed's Heating and Cooling for anything. UNTRUSTWORTHY. It would be great if they gave the $500 back, but I know they will not. Lesson Learned, BEWARE.

Fuel oil Furnace was air locked,( happens occasionally) asked Ed's heating and cooling to fix it, I specifically asked for a technician with experience with fuel oil furnaces. Two very young guys came out, I told them what I suspected was wrong, after a very long time they say someone needed to bring a tool for them they needed, never saw anyone bring the tool. After while they tell me the pump won't even pull the fuel to the furnace, said I need a new one for $ 1100 plus installation. And the part would not be Available for 5 days On day 5 I had not heard from them, so I call and they say it will be in the next day, and they could install it the day after that. I had a feeling they had no idea what they were doing. I called Stevenson heating and cooling to assess the problem, and told them I suspected it was air locked because it had happened before. The tech came out in 10 minutes and said " all fixed", yes it was air locked, so he bled the line. And charged me only for a service call. I'm so grateful I called Stevensons. Beware if you get a huge estimate from Ed's heating and cooling, and get a second opinion. I'm appalled that Ed's sent unqualified tech's and they tried to rip me off. I'm a senior citizen living on a fixed income, would NEVER RECOMMEND ED'S HEATING AND COOLING.

The start off wanting and making sure they get your business but afterwards they ignore you. For one I asked they to install sensors lights but they never came and asked me which ones I wanted they just decided to put the ones up they wanted to. And when I informed the technician that he installed the wrong lights he said I would have to talk to someone at the office. So I called someone which was suppose to be a supervisor who told me basically oh well, you have the lights now unless you want to pay to have a different set installed. The I asked for another supervisor and the lady who takes the calls said one would have to call me back. Still no call back yet. I forgot to add that a yellow notification came up on my heating an air conditioning screen, so I called iEd's heating and air conditioning and they sent a technician out who told me that my that my filter needed to be changed, and charge me a service fee of $95 just to tell me the filter needed to be changed. But of course when I had the heating unit as well as my air conditioning unit installed, they told me I would have no service fee if they had to come out and look at my heating unit or my air conditioning unitfor a year. So of course, that was a lie, because I've pay 3 separate service fees. And it hasn't even been a year yet. Like I said it's a shame companies are very nice to get your business, But when you need them to come out for something as little as servicing the new unit Like they said it needs to be done, It's like you're ruining their whole day!

A+++ This company was recommended by my insurance agent. Ed's replaced the cheap plastic main water pipe that the Huber builder used when my home was built. It had cracked and was leaking. My water bill had doubled. Ed's scheduled a visit within a week of my call.Their lead plumber Jimmie gave me an estimate and the work was scheduled the following week. His confidence and experience calmed my fears...because here I was with a main water line leaking gallons of water that I have to pay for! Their office staff Jessica and Mike submitted the necessary paperwork to my insurance company very promptly. Jimmie and Tyler worked very hard to replace that pipe. They even worked in the pouring rain! I watched them from my doorbell camera while I was at work. Wow! Was I impressed! If you want good quality work from a legitimate company this is the company to call. I am very pleased with a job well done and will be a return customer in the future for my HVAC needs. I sure hope Ed's appreciates their employees and pays them well because they are awesome!
