@Home Construction and Services poured an approximate 25ft x 35ft concrete slab and stairs for our back patio in mid June 2022. Additionally, they built a covered patio/overhang. The price for both was quoted at approximately $19,000. As required per the contract, we paid 50% of this cost upfront. The concrete poured left waves, draining issues, stains, cracks in the concrete days after being poured, and was 2 different colors, etc. Although we were assured that all of this was "normal" because the outside temperature was too hot (questioning why the concrete was poured to begin with that day?), the damaged areas were going to be fixed and made "perfect". After the contractor attempted to lay bagged concrete over top of already poured concrete and brush it out as well as two skim-coat layers, our concrete patio continues to crack, bow, and wave. The reported owner of the company, ****, came to our home unannounced and requested he see the patio at that very time and took pictures of the poor work. He verbally assured and then later through written email assured that the situation would be rectified, requesting that the remaining balance be paid. Three months later, September 2022, @HomeConstructionandServices have retracted their solutions to rectifying their mistakes, leaving us out of thousands of dollars and a patio that is cracking, crumbling, bending, and uneven. Namely, the contract we signed left us with a one-year warranty.
