Technicians did not follow the manufacturer specifications for the vehicle. WRONG FLUID, WRONG PARTS, COMPLETE NEGLIGENCE. The shop did not have the appropriate equipment and tools to perform the job properly and did not perform the services I paid for and kept my money. ***** response was a rude and disgusting shop manager and district manager ******. They they have sketchy FRAUDULENT business practices AND DO NOT PERFORM THE WORK YOU PAY FOR. TECHNICIANS DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND WILL RUIN YOUR CAR. Shop tried to lied about performing work, and tried to release the car to me with my children in the vehicle, and almost crashed and stalled out instantly after paying for service. ***** district manager has been disgusting and rude and has not refunded my money and has done absolutely nothing to rectify the issue. If I could give Negative or zero stars, I would. If you want your car serviced by clowns and unprofessionals this is the circus. If you want your car broken and to pay for service that isn't performed AUTO SERVICE FRAUD and perform improperly this is the place. ***** corporation better get in contact with me directly lawsuit coming your way. Disgusting Business overall. Will be reporting to the BBB and FDACS. The worst part about this entire experience is these people have not refunding my money, nor have they treated me and my family with respect and dignity, and I will be seeing them in court until I am refunded and made whole for their negligence and damage.Review from Carol I

Went in to Tuffy Tire @ Auto Service at ******************** in *********** **. To get ONE head light fixed. They told me it was a 25 minute wait . I said fine I'll wait. Then they told me the price of $262.14 They said head lights come in packages of two and both would have to be changed out and it was labor intensive and that's why so much money. It was mostly labor. A half hour later car was fixed which was not labor intensive, I am a women who they took advantage of and in my opinion was fraud. My paper work given to me says only one bulb was installed not two and 1 headlamp. So , where is the second one they told me was to be installed as well??Tuffy Corporate Response

Both of our vehicles were in the shop the week of November 1st. The truck was fixed first and we spent about $1,000 to replace the thermostat and water pump. On Thursday, November 4th we took my SUV in and we were quoted $900 for the same exact repairs as the truck plus some hoses.
We picked it up Thursday at the shop's closing time. We paid the invoice and when we were handed the Customer Copy of the Invoice, **** mentioned there is a 2 year nationwide warranty on the work. On the drive home my check engine light started to blink. There was a huge puddle of antifreeze in the driveway once I got home and it wasn't running right. It was idling very rough and would barely stay running. We had it towed back to the shop the very next morning. I ended up taking unplanned PTO on Friday morning while they worked on my car. They told me it was misfiring because they didn't connect an elbow correctly and caused the spark plugs to need replaced as well. They got it running right and I was on my way.
Saturday morning, my husband went to gas up for our trip to Kansas City for our son's birthday and no heat. He was frustrated and went into the shop and was told the car needs to warm up in order for the heat to work. He told them we would be bringing it back in on Monday. We went to Kansas City and had no heat while we were out of town.
We dropped it off Monday, November 8th in the morning, no heat, no puddle. I called them mid-afternoon to see what was wrong. I was told it was the actuator and they flushed the heater core and it's working. The next day, Tuesday, November 9th, I don't have heat and the vehicle is leaking something & the heat would work after turning it on & off several times. It never leaked before it was in the shop for the heater repair. I called and spoke to **** ******* and told him what was going on and that I had things going on and needed my car so he said to bring it in whenever it was convenient. We dropped it off Tuesday, November 16th around 8:00 in the morning. **** wasn't in the office at the time we dropped it off and we spoke with *****. I told him that I noticed the vent button was broken and wasn't before we brought it in. They looked at it and ***** called mid-afternoon Tuesday to say it was looked at and to call back. I called and he was very short with me and I had to ask if it was ready to be picked up and he said yes. I had to take time away from work again to go pick it up and when we went in, ***** set the keys on the counter. I asked what they found, he said nothing but tightened some clamps on some hoses. Then he proceeded to say that we got another freebie from them. We left, the vent button is continuing to fall off in pieces and the heat will work slightly if the fan is on low. If the fan is turned up, only cold air blows. I drove the vehicle on Wednesday, November 17th for a 7 mile round trip and had no heat, the outside temp was 45 degrees. I believe that driving the vehicle for less than 7 miles, I should have heat.
So...we're out about $1,000, many hours of time, an insurance claim for the tow, unplanned PTO & still no heat. We have been more than understanding and get treated rudely by the staff at the Papillion, NE Tuffy Tire & Auto Service location. The only things I want are to have working heat like the original appointment on November 4th was for and to have the damages to my vehicle fixed by your company. We will not be returning to the Tuffy Tire & Auto Service in Papillion, NE any longer.
Immediately after my reviews were posted online on November 18, 2021, I received a voicemail from **** at Tuffy in Papillion. This is my phone's Transcription of that message "Hello this is **** from Tuffys I just read ___ review here and I didn't even know you came in on my day off it's kind of setting him up I'd like to do something but I understand if you don't call back _ like to go over what happened I don't know why my people talk to you the way they did I apologize that a yes call me about your vehicle if you'd like and sorry you are right bye..."
I did in fact, call him back and he told me to bring it in and he would personally drive it to another Tuffy location to have someone else look at. My husband and I dropped the vehicle off that same day around 5:00 PM. We spoke to **** and he was very understanding and said he would get my vehicle to the Millard location the next day or bring in a tech from their location to work on it. We repeatedly told him we were going out of town for Thanksgiving and had planned to take this vehicle and he agreed to have the repairs complete by the time we had to leave.
On November 19th we were in the area of the Tuffy location so we stopped to see if my vehicle was still at that location. It was parked in a bay, no work was being done on it. My husband called the Tuffy while were in the parking lot and spoke to **** and he said they were having issues getting the dash out to get to the heater core. At this point, we left.
The following day, **** called me around 4:15 PM to let me know they were still struggling to get the dash removed. At this point they were going to have my vehicle for the weekend.
On Monday, November 22nd I called to see if the work was complete and spoke to **** again. He said that a door in the dash had been glued shut previously and I would have to come to see it, because I wouldn't believe it. He asked how long we had this vehicle and I told him three years, which I later realized was incorrect, it has only been two years. I then told him we would stop in because my son needed some sport equipment out of my car for that evening. We stopped in and **** took us out to the bay where my vehicle was in literal pieces...the dash was out, the console, the steering wheel and likely more and NOTHING was labeled. I wanted to cry... He then showed us the door that had been "glued" shut and said there was no way that the heat could've ever worked with that the way it was. I told him that the heat worked just fine until this fall when we brought it in to them. He then got into a heated discussion with my husband about the cost of the repair and my husband told him that agreement was to take it to another location because we felt after the last few visits and issues the mechanics at this location were incompetent. The mechanic was present and joined into the conversation and at that point, **** had us leave the bay. We continued our conversation inside the business. He told us that he liked us and would take care of us. The following day, ***** called me to say the SUV was ready. I asked the total due and he said it was $596 plus some change. When my husband got home, we went and picked up the vehicle. I went in and paid and ***** made a statement that we "got more than $3,000 in repairs done for half price". I left & noticed that evening that my console near the gear shifter no longer had lights and there was an odd noise that I never noticed when I accelerated. Due to this, we reserved a rental car for the trip out of town for the weekend. When we returned home on November 27th, my husband drove the vehicle that evening and the heat was working but the lights on the console were not.
On Sunday, November 28th, we took the vehicle from Omaha to Lincoln. Before we left our house, my husband noticed that the electrical outlet which is in backseat console was no longer there. We looked a bit closer and found the wire was hanging out the bottom of the rear console between the console and the carpet. The cover wasn't there. We later found the cover on the floor on the other side of the backseat. My husband was driving and I noticed a cool breeze on my feet on passenger side. While the car was in the shop, I had renewed the registration and I opened the glovebox to put the new paperwork in there and there is cold air blowing into the glove box. I don't ever recall this happening before. The next issue I noticed is there is a small part on the console near the gear shifter missing and wondered if that it was powered the lights. I also noticed that the air vent knob near the passenger door was also broken. At this point, we have given them many chances to fix their errors on my car and are left with my vehicle in worse physical shape after being in their possession and having repairs done that when we took it in on November 4th.
