I would say back in the beginning of September I dropped clothes at adams cleaners to be washed it was about 12-15 items. I never got a call to come pick up my items but I'll usually call in to see if they are done so that wasn't a problem on September 30 I picked up my items but were told that some weren't done so I left adams never calls like I state before so I called one time I was told they weren't ready then I was told 2 separate calls the owner needed to speak with me after speaking with the owner I was informed that they messed up my fiancé shirt and tommy Hilfiger pants the owner proceeded to tell me he looked online and found his shirt for $17 however he paid for a two piece set out at the mall for $150, my fiancé accepted the fact he could replace the shirt( which we have not seen tell this day) for that amount as long as it was the same shirt. *** the owner said he would pay my fiancé $60 to replace his tommy pants when we have told him over and over we got those pants when we were out of town in Florida at a Tommy Hilfiger store I have tried to look the pants up online myself and can not find them on the website for us to even replace them. He paid $120 for those pants however we don't have a receipt cause we bought it months ago and it got lost with us traveling back home. My fiancé is deeply upset because adams been around since he was a kid and he feels this is just not how *** should be treating his customers. He refuse to come to a Compromise and continue to tell us what he will give us for our items when we know we paid more. He has yet to tell us we can come pick up the shirt he reorder or given us a call to let us know anything it's as if he wants us to continue to keep calling him when it's his business to give good customer service and to be on top of thing like this. Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/21) */ I am sorry that your clothes were damaged in the cleaning process and that there were communication problems. When something is damaged we ask for a receipt so we can turn it into our insurance. When no receipt is available we look online for same or similar items to get some idea what the garments are worth based costs and age. If possible we will replace the item if it is available. We have written a check for $120.00 based on the information we have and the research we did online.It can be picked up at the store anytime or if they would like it mailed please send me the address. Again I apologize for the inconvenience. ************
