I went to get a knee x-ray on 5/4/24 and the lady Diane told me at the Mercy Health King Rd center that after insurance it would be $759.00 but if I paid within one week I would receive 20% off. On 5/9/24 I spoke with ********* and I paid $207.20 on my personal Visa, which has since been refunded on 6/26/24. However, the other $400.00 I paid on my health savings card that my employer gives me has not been refunded (they only refunded $56.14) on 6/26/24. I called today 6/28/24 and spoke with ********* at ********** and she said that Mercy Health took my remaining credit and paid bills that I have not even received the statements for. I did not authorize any of those current payments and this should be illegal to do. It is like stealing someone's card and charging things on it. The one and only statement I have received from Mercy Health was on 4/26/24. I will not pay any further bills until Mercy Health refunds my complete total.Initial Complaint

They want me to pay the bill twice. We paid for everything on the day of the visit. But they continue to send us bills. We even sent them a screenshot from our bank account that the payment was made. But they told us they don't have the patient with this date of birth. But that doesn't mean we have unpaid bills. Someone in the clinic on the visit day made a mistake in my daughter's date of birth. We paid the bill right after the visit.
