Incompleted jobs, overcharged, no lumber not used for job left for person who was charged. Ignoring all calls for repair of ruts.Business response
11/10/2021
Business Response /* (1000, 12, 2021/11/10) */ The business owner informed BBB that the job involved replacing 15 sheets of bad wood at $50/sheet. The job was completed and the consumer paid. The consumer then contacted the business requesting the business return with a magnet to clean the ground. The business called the consumer the next day. The consumer told the business that he had already contacted his attorney because the business had not brought out the magnet and made a rut in the grass off his driveway. The business owner was willing to come back out with topsoil to repair the small rut. However, the consumer refused to have the business back on his property. The business does not feel the consumer is due a refund at this time and considers the matter closed. Consumer Response /* (3000, 18, 2021/11/29) */ False - 4 sheets written on contract - used 3 sheets plus 1 - I supplied. Not 15 sheets. Check the contract BBB has a copy. False - Mr. *** did not call the next day about magnet - I called him several times and he said the next day, next weekend, next week and never showed up. False - did not refuse them (Fry's) to come back on the property, they never showed up. And it was three large double ruts not one small rut. I called repeatedly and was cut off. After 4 days of straight rain, anyone with any common sense would not pull trucks onto someone's lawn. This man is telling too many lies, I would like to have an agent just check all my complaints out. He offered to pay me $20 or $30 to get top soil and put it down? I had to go get the top soil and seed, put it down and pay for it. Overcharge and this endeavor totals $500. I request Fry Roofing be taken off BBB list. Am I supposed to turn him to IRS?
