      I have been shopping at Seaway Marketplace for the past 4 years with no problems. Granted I look like Waldo in there since I am a white person not that not that that matters I've always felt plenty comfortable. Well today I go in I fill up my car I wait in line and a price comes up wrong which it has about three times in a row now and every time I tell him about it. Well the woman refused to go look and do a price check she said that is what the price is and I knew better what it says underneath of it they're the ones that have not changed it by law I should get it for that price. So I asked for the head manager. He sees that I was having a disagreement with that woman and thinks I was fighting with her for some reason now I may have been being passionate about my words because she was completely wrong and didn't want to do her job. So what does he do he kicks me out and says don't talk to my employees that way and he never even heard a word of it he was about 30 ft away. And then on the way out I had about four different black employees say derogatory racial slurs to me I felt for my safety definitely. I mean I will never go in that building again. There should be police there even. Now on to the price adjustments about 25% of their prices are marked wrong so if you don't catch it they won't change it and they do not like to change it you have to literally argue with them to do so. That's really all I got I just felt like embarrassed scared for my safety all for going to get some groceries just don't go there and I think I'm going to take this even further unless it gets taken care of I don't know who knows we'll see. Do not go there!

      To Whom it May Concern,

      In regards to the above listed complaint, we would like to categorically deny the sequence of events that the customer stated as truth.

      On the day in question, the item did in fact scan at the correct price. The customer saw a sign for a similar product, but in a smaller size, and took that as the appropriate price. Upon management clarifying this to the customer, she became irate and disrespectful to our associates. The customer acknowledges this in her complaint in saying, "...I may have been being passionate about my words...". Our long standing policy has been that any profanities directed towards our staff will result in the customer being removed from store premises.

      In regards to the complaint regarding racial slurs, we also vehemently deny any such happening. We have been in business since 2005 and serve customers from all walks of life on a daily basis. If our employees practiced such behavior, we would have not made it this far. We are proud to be a pillar of our community for the last 18 years and we are a critical part of the surrounding neighborhood. We are located in what is called a "Food Desert" and our passion is providing goods to customers that cannot go anywhere else for their shopping needs.

      We have had an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau for quite some time, mainly because we treat our customers in the absolute opposite way that was stated above.

      In regards to the alleged pricing discrepancy, Toledo Weights and Measures audits our store twice per year, and has done so every year we have been open. We have never been below 98% accuracy when audited, a far cry from the 25% value the customer stated.
