*****, I will make this right. I will schedule coming over and going over the installation. Let me check our schedule and get back to you. ***** ******** Total Comfort Services ***** ******** office ***** ******** cell (**** ******** fax To ***** ******** of Total Comfort on July 16, 2022 after numerous unreturned phone messages and emails: 1. Unit did not keep up with set point from Summer 2021 through the present of which Total Comfort was notified. Photos and emails on file. 2. Total Comfort inspected unit in 2022 and acknowledged the refrigerant was contaminated. Only contractor accessing unit was Total Comfort. Refrigerant changed--contamination caused by Total Comfort. Refrigerant replaced. Unit still does not keep up with cooling when outdoor temperatures in 90 degree range causing us to incur unreasonable discomfort. Photos on file. 3. Unit does not shut off for hour or more after reaching set point causing us to incur unreasonable utility costs. 4. New unit and thermostat installed by Total Comfort in November 2020. Ten(10) year Parts; Two(2) Warranty furnished. Total Comfort has not responded to three calls and an email. Total Comfort has failed to honor the Warranty and has not provided a properly functioning system. 5. Total Comfort was notified that we intend to mitigate damages we are experiencing and hold Total Comfort responsible in the event resolution was not reached by July1 15, 2022. No contact has been initiated by Total Comfort as of the date and time of this email. I received the email from Total Comfort stating they would make situation right but then no return calls nor response to recent emails. Purchase was $6,700.00 in November 2020. Two year labor warranty from Total Comfort.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
While business did visit location today and took some action, it was not possible to yet determine whether such actions resolved BOTH problems. It remains unknown whether the unit will properly cool when outside temperatures are in mid 80° and above(temperature was in 70° range when business chose to visit site. It will also require a period of time to determine whether thermostat continues to turn unit off when set point is reached.

As you are aware, we took exception to the BBB actions related to our complaint. We made it clear to you in several communications that we no longer trust your process and will not waste further time with your organization. You were also asked numerous times as to whether the local BBB is affiliated with a national organization that we can contact about our experience. You have ignored this request and instead re-send this communication related to filing a new complaint which you already are aware we are not interested in doing.
