      My husband and I stayed at this establishment on December 21st. We were charged $64.49 for one night. The room was gross. It smelled of old mop water and there were particles all over the floor. We did not feel comfortable enough in the room to even remove our shoes. There were old blood and s**** stains on the bedding, pillows and towels. My husband and I removed the blanket from the bed and wadded it up, moving it into the corner of the room because of the s**** and blood stains all over it. We felt grossed out and did not want to sleep with that blanket. We barely slept due to all the noise and how unbearably cold the room was. Our heater sounded like it was about to explode so we had to turn it off. We gathered our things and checked out very early the next morning. We did not use the shower or the towels, and we left the stained blanket in the corner of the room.Several days later I see an additional $30 charge on my credit card transactions from this establishment. I disputed it with my credit card company in January. This establishment responded to the dispute claiming the blanket was not in the room. This establishment has blatantly lied. The blanket was in the room. They have now stolen money from me and lied to do so.

      The blanket was balled up in a corner of the room. Your blanket was absolutely disgusting and I did not want it anywhere near me. Stop lying about your nasty blanket being missing.

      Dear customer,

      The blanket was not left in the room after you left. we searched the room for our linens when we strip the rooms of linen to be washed. the blanket was in fact not in the room.

      The sign outside the business (a digital sign) advertise rooms for $49.95. The price is actually $20 higher. I pointed this out to the clerk and they told me "it's an old sign" a digital, programable sign is an "old sign" these signs can be changed with the touch of a button. It's basic false advertising and fraud at it's best.

      Made a reservation through a 3rd party company for a room on July 25th. When we went to check-in, the clerk told me and another family that they didn’t have any rooms available. The clerk asked me if I would like her to cancel the reservation and I asked why wouldn’t she, and mentioned that either I could cancel it or she could. I asked her to cancel it. I reached out to the 3rd party company on June 28th. Ever since then, they have tried reaching out to you guys and no one will answer or call them back. I would appreciate my $180 back for a room that I was unable to stay in. The third party booking company has mentioned that they are still waiting for the Motel 6 to return their calls (as of 7/11/22)

      I was asked to clean Motel rooms at listed location and to pick up specific supplies to do it out of my own money, which I would be paid back for at a rate of no less then $30.00 per room, by then Manager *****. He said I would spend about an hour in each room the rooms were deemed good but the owner wanted the mall redone the next day. Adding numerous things to what I was told originally. I re-swept and mopped rooms which didn't need it and told the desk person I would not be doing anymore rooms as I would have to be willing to accept less then minimum wage which I was not. I turned in receipts for the supplies I bought last month and which they still have. I have tried to contact the owner "Al" a half dozen times and 3 weeks later I have not been paid nor talked to him. I did receive a check for $150.00 but this is not what was agreed to and barely covers the cost of supplies. I feel they are deliberately ignoring me at this point so here we are. Below is letter sent to the company: 2/14/22 To whom it may concern, I was told I would be repaid for the materials I bought on the behalf of Motel 6 the week that I purchased them. This has not occurred though it has been several weeks now and the receipts were submitted the first day. I was also told that I would be paid the following week for the previous week's work. This has not happened though it is going on two weeks now. With the changes in management I can certainly understand how this information may not have been passed on to those responsible for paying any given invoice. I did receive a partial payment by check of $150.00 on 2/10/22 and which the invoice reflects. There is still a remaining balance of $171.37. Please arrange for payment of the balance by Friday February 18th to be picked up from the Motel 6 counter as soon as available. Respectfully yours, William Halbert

      The business informed BBB that the consumer never spoke directly with the business owner. The General Manager, *****, spoke to the consumer. The consumer was displeased with the state of room. The owner paid the cleaners $150 to clean the room. The owner did not ask the cleaners to purchase cleaning supplies. The General Manager is no longer with the business and cannot be reached to determine if he make such an agreement. The supplies in question were left on location, even though the cleaners were to have taken them when they left. It has been about 3 weeks since the supplies were left and the business can no longer located them.

      The business is confused as to why the cleaners are asking for $170 when the business was invoiced for $200 and paid $150 of it.

      The business does not know where the cleaning supplies are now and does not feel they are liable for items that were left at their establishment.
