I had this company help me move September 7th 2023 out of my house. They disconnected my washer and left the water running causing water damage to the kitchen floor. The only reason we found out the water was still running in the vacant house was because the water bill came back as $100. When going back into the house the kitchen floor titles were soggy from absorbing water. I called the company 4 times on my cellphone. Left a message each time and they refused to call me back. I called from a different phone number and they answered right away. They acted as if I never called and that they never got my voicemails. The man stated that they would contact their boss and call me back. They still refuse to call me back or answer when I call.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because NO where was there a contract signed stating they they wouldn’t be liable. They were the last people to disconnect the washer. The mover stated the water was turned off. If they’re not capable of doing the job they state they know how to do they shouldn’t be advertising that. They were extremely unprofessional about this whole process too.

      Sincerely,

      **** ******

On 8/19/22 this company was used to move furniture for us, 47 pieces were moved. The movers moved very slowly and after 5 1/2 hours all of the large things were gone so they were told that when they finished the upstairs we would get the rest. They left a standard mattress that was discovered once in the new house so a truck had to be obtained to go back and get it. Once at the new house I was approached and told that a piece of glass that went to a custom made Amish curio cabinet was broken and to contact the owner. When the movers left I noticed that the entire top of a dining table had scratches, gouges, etc… after finding that I checked the remainder of the furniture. 18 pieces have surface, mechanical and structural damage. The owner was contacted and he asked for photos, it was explained that it would be better to come and see the damage in person as there were too many photos, some pieces had as many as five areas of damage and mechanical issues could not be photographed. The owner agreed and made an appointment to come to the house and assess the damages on 8/25/22 at 5:00p, he never showed. We called the office about 5:40p and was told that there was nothing in the schedule showing the appointment but that she would call the owner and have him call us. We never received a call. We chose this company based on reviews and they advertised a 10% discount for police officers, which my husband is. There are too many photos to upload but a few are attached.

Customers called to book a move. We agreed on date and time. We were on time. 2 movers arrived. The woman did not have any dog cages, so she wrapped her dogs around a tree in the 100 degree weather. Move started, was fine. The guys broke about an 12 inch by 8 inch piece of glass out of an armoir type piece of furniture. They told  the home owners immediately. Movers said the owners were not mad and continued to move and told them we could replace. (about 10$ at bomar glass on secor). Movers were about 2.5-3 hours into the load and she said to stop and that she would grab the rest herself because the dogs were becoming overheated and needed to get them inside. our movers asked her to do a "once over" to make sure there wasnt anything left she could not handle. she told them it is good can just go to the drop off. movers went to drop off, the customers received there discount. No other compaints. Movers left. About a week later they are saying now 18 items are damaged when it is way to late to put in a claim. We could still fix the glass. meanwhile the lady has been slandering our 5 star rated business online everywhere calling us every name in the book posting lie ridden bad reviews everywhere like she had to rent a uhaul to get things we "forgot" when told us to stop and was asked about checking to make sure. Saying we left without the job done and had to rent a uhaul for extra charges, When she specifically told them to leave because of the dogs.  Was asked about a "once over" to make sure nothing was left she didnt want left. All of the sudden its 18 items and not the broken glass. Her google page had about 100 reviews, about 85 of them were 0 star. She filed a civil claim for 6,000$ in damages.(absoluely insane) We went to court. In the hallway she talked to our lawyer and she offered to accept 3,000$ in damages. We absolutely declined. Could not produce the furniture items, said already threw out. She then negotiated with our lawyer and settled on 1,200$ and no court in the hallway. Basically her move cost +400$ extra. I didnt want to accept, but took a risk if it went to court. I believed all we should replace is the glass that was broken, and she was notified immediately when that happened.
