On October 22, 2023, my boyfriend and I went to Mer De Vie Nail Spa for pedicures. I scheduled the pedicures for 4:00 P.M. and arrived a few minutes before. The man at the front desk informed us there were only 2 people available and they would be ready in a few minutes. This business is committed to “Immaculate Nails, Impeccable Care”and that “Your Safety is Our Priority at MDV Nail Spa.” “At MDV we focus on customer experience, health and happiness.” “Established in 2021, MDV Nail Spa understands the significance of upholding impeccable salon hygiene, particularly in light of the challenging COVID-19 pandemic. Our unwavering commitment lies in prioritizing client safety above all else. We are dedicated to providing our valued clients with a delightful and healthy experience at our spa.” While one of the staff was giving my boyfriend a pedicure, the staff member cut my boyfriend’s skin above the bottom of the feet on the side of both feet. There’s no reason to have the callus remover that far up from the heel and an experienced nail tech would know this except the staff member who completed the pedicure was inexperienced. The sides of both feet were cut and were bleeding and still bleeding currently. The staff member ignored the fact that my boyfriend’s feet were cut and bleeding. To make matters worse, the staff member put some chemicals used for callus treatment on the cuts. My boyfriend will have to seek medical attention as his feet are cut up and he is in pain. I didn’t realize the severity of the injuries the staff member caused until today when I saw my boyfriend’s feet and the deep gashes that look infected that the staff member caused. I will be going to the business to show the owner the damage their employee caused. My boyfriend will have to go to a doctor and I expect the business to pay for any treatment for the injuries to my boyfriend’s feet that this inexperienced staff member has caused along with a full refund.
