I have purchased a few orders from the Discover books through the eBay.com but most of them are not received. Many times I contacted them through the eBay account but still no resolution received. On March 10, 2024 I ordered a book. The seller sent a tracking number but the book never arrived. The seller will not reply to requests for a refund despite contacting them via two different email addresses. According to the company's reviews on multiple platforms, it seems that they do this repeatedly. They sell a book, list a tracking number so the buyer believes the item is on the way, but then they never give the package to the shipping service and they keep the buyer's money. Like most of the others who are submitting complaints, I ordered a book in March and never received it; inquired SEVERAL times with AbeBooks which is the site where I purchased it, and supposedly they forwarded my inquiry to the seller, Hippo Books. Received emails that the book would be delivered Friday, then another email that it would be delivered Monday…needless to say I still have no book. Frustrating.Initial Complaint

Order on 3/26/2024 never received. Tracking shows was shipped, but is pending somewhere. Highly doubt the book ever went out the door. Have tried to contact numerous ways and numerous times, but no response of any kind in turn.Initial Complaint

On March 11, 2024, I made a purchase in the amount of $31.14 via Apple Pay from Discover Books. I never received the books I ordered. Today is April 16, 2024. I have heard that Discover Books went out of business in late March 2024. I would like a full refund, as I never received my books. Thank you.Initial Complaint

Bookseller have been contacted several times via Customer Service email on website with no response. I've also tried calling Hippo directly ************ but no one picks up and voice message directs to a defunct website. It appears that they generated a label to likely "appear" that it's been processed/shipped but it's been almost 6 weeks and I've not received the book and request a refund. It also seems odd that the bookseller is located in Hammond IN but it says the label was generated in Toledo OH. Please assist in receiving refund. Ordered a book from this seller nearly a month ago that was supposed to be delivered last week. The tracking information has never been updated and has said "label created, not yet in system" since I received the tracking information. I have tried to reach out multiple times to the bookseller but have received zero responses. I'd really like the book to be actually shipped but would rather not do business with this seller anymore.
