      I ordered 3 used books from AbeBooks: Sales Order # ********* Ordered on March 10, 2024. They were to be shipped from Hippo Books, Hammond, Indiana. Supposedly the books were shipped to me. The last updated tracking information was on March 20: "Your item was picked up by a shipping partner at 1:36 pm on March 20, 2024 in TOLEDO, OH 43607. A delivery date will be provided when USPS receives the package." Today is April 10, 2024. I do not have the books and neither AbeBooks nor Hippo Books will respond to my emails.

      I am still waiting for books that I have ordered. Five books I am still waiting for. I have sent message after message to which I received no response. I want my orders fulfilled or my money refunded. The first order was placed March 8 and the last one was placed March 21, 2024. ******* ********

      I bought a book titled ‘My Inspiring Journey with God’ by ******* ******* on March 11, 2024. This was via AbeBooks.com. According to the tracking number provided by the seller, the book was shipped out on 14th March 2024 by a shipping partner. Since then, there have been no updated information. The book was supposed to arrive by 31st March 2024. I have tried contacting the seller via AbeBooks.com customer service who then forwarded the message to seller. There had been no response to the first message. So I contacted the seller directly. Still no answers. And I sent yet another message via AbeBooks.com. So now I am appealing to BBB.org for help. Below are some of the information that was emailed to me via AbeBooks.com. AbeBooks Sales Order No. *********: Hippo Books has provided tracking information for AbeBooks Sales Order Number *********.       Ordered two books from Booker Seller Hippo Books on March 17, 2024 using their affiliate AbeBooks.Com. with a sales order number ********* and AbeBooks purchase order No: *********. Total amount for the two books was $10.45. Books are Born to Hang - author ******** ******** and The Revengers by same author. Shipping Company: USPS Tracking Number: **********************. Upon entering the USPS tracking number multiple times over the last week (and also today 4/8/24) to track the status, the following message is displayed. ********************** Copy Add to Informed Delivery Label Created, not yet in system A status update is not yet available on your package. It will be available when the shipper provides an update or the package is given to USPS. Check back soon. A label was created but, but the package was never received by USPS.. I sent a message to Abe.Books but received no reply. I called the number for Hippo Books ************ (it was answered as Discover Books) and it has a recording "due to high call volume, can't answer the call". No way to leave a message. I am seeking a full refund of $10.45.

      I ordered a textbook for paralegals published by the Aspen Press. It could have been "Fundamentals of Litigation for Paralegals" or a different title. Honestly , I don't remember. I ordered two by mistake and returned one for a refund. It was brand new and in mint condition. The USPS tracking number in the document attached shows that they did receive it, so where is the refund? All I am asking for is my money back. Thank you. The attached email document has all the relevant details.

      Ordered 4 books from Hippo Books and 1 book from Owl Books which is under this business on abebooks.com on March 9, 2024. I have received one book from the Hippo Books order, but not the other 3 nor the 1 from Owl Books. The tracking provided for each shipment states from the USPS and OSM websites that OSM has picked up the packages on March 14th and 19th respectively in Toledo, OH but has not done anything since then as it is still awaiting delivery to the USPS. I have attempted to contact the sellers (Hippo/Owl) but they have not responded to my emails. Would like a refund or an expedited delivery once the packages are found.

      I ordered 2 books from Discover books and 1 of the books arrived and the 2nd book has not arrived yet. I tried calling them over and over again with no contact with a customer service representative. All I am asking is to get the 2nd book so I can give it to a friend of mine who is having surgery soon. Plz help me out! Can you guys plz call me when this is resolved? Thank you for your time.

      I emailed Discover Books (aka Hippo Books, Owl Books, Second Sale Books) repeatedly about the four (4) different orders with the nine (9) Books that they never mailed me. As soon as an order is generated, the add a shipment number to the order - regardless of its legitimatacy or whether it's ever actually mailed - so that when the customer never receives the book, they can deny the refund request because the provided a shipment tracking number "proving" it was "shipped". I sent a long email that included several screenshots proving they created the shipping labels but never shipped the books. I have repeatedly asked for the money back that is due to me and they have blatantly ignored the ten or so emails I have sent them. This is blatant thievery. These people are scammers!
