    Hippo Books....I ordered a book but weeks later have never received it. I've emailed them four times with no response. AbeBooks will not do anything. This company is a rip off. I will never order from them again. Bunch of scammers.

    Ordered books via ******* for Discover Books in March .They took my money.Never received books.Hasnt moved from ****** since March 20th. No info on web site phone isn't taking messages at Discover Books .Rip off !

    I purchased a book through Abebooks fulfilled by Discover Books/Hippo Books on March 9, 2024. I never received the product. Their have been no updates since March 14th from ***** I have attempted to contact both companies via their website emails and phone. They state that they will respond within two days. There has been NO RESPONSE to the emails and the both phone numbers just tell you to contact them via email with no way to speak to anyone or to leave a message. I will now have to resort to contacting my credit card company. Customer Beware!

    I have been buying books from them for 7 years. Never ever had a problem.Bought every book an author at one time over 30 books one time. Had no problem. Bought gifts and they sent it to the person I bought it for. How about we post good things. Not everyone is perfect. Thanks Discovery books.*********************

    Trash DIRTY books people that worked there put **** pics in my 6 yr olds book that was covered in dirt I would never buy a book from this company that gets there books from prisoners on deathrow that donate books they turn around n sell a child what is wrong with these people DONT SHOP HERE DONT SUPPORT A BUSINESS THAT SELL PRISON BOOKS TO KIDS THAT ARE FILTHY AND DIRTY NOT CLEANED OFF AND HAS P**** PICTURES INSIDE OF IT PLEASE I'D RECOMMEND YOU NOT TO EVER UNTIL EVERYBODY YOU KNOW NOT TO SHOP WITH DISCOVERY BOOKS AND JUST GO TO THE STORE AND BUY A BRAND NEW BOOK DEFINITELY AIN'T WORTH IT horrible customer service horrible prices for these books this is a all-profit organization please do not buy from this place books are trash and belong in the garbage just like their employees

    Discover Books fulfilled a book on an order from Abebooks. They sent me the books with the correct ISBN number BUT it was NOT the Revised edition. My specific order shows that I ordered the REVISED edition, but they sent me an older version that was not the correct copy. I ordered the book in May to use for the next school year beginning in August. By the time I opened the book to use it for grading my child's work, I realized it was the wrong edition but the return window had already expired. I message Discover Books and told them that although the return window had already expired, they sent me the WRONG book and essentially wasted my money. I am unable to use the book to grade my son's assignments. I asked them to make it right, and a customer service representative responded that since it was outside the return window, they would not do anything about it. Again, they sent me the wrong book. I ordered the correct book. It was their mistake and then they kept my money. NEVER do business with this business.

    "good" condition hc book arrived with bindings taped and stapled together, and pages have evidence of sputum and food particles. Hippo refuses to accept a return or credit my Amazon account
