Terrible customer service. Signed contract in May or June. After they received the deposit they never contacted me. After calling them several times to get a start date, I got tired of waiting and and got my deposit back in September or October.Buck Brothers Asphalt Paving & Concrete Response

As we informed you upfront, we do not provide specific start dates because our schedule can be affected by various factors, including weather and other construction-related delays. Our commitment is to complete all accepted jobs before our season ends in November, and we have consistently met this timeframe.We strive to provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to all correspondence. Each time you contacted us, we provided the same information we give to all our clients, and we returned your deposit promptly when you decided to cancel.We regret that we did not meet your expectations. Customers beware do not use there business because they will have you sign their contract freeing them of any damages done to your property. I was reluctant at first to sign off, but I did so because of their low price compared to other asphalt businesses. *** was that a mistake on my part they really did a poor job on my driveway. They had to come a second time because it was done incorrectly and when it was finally finished there was still some major issues that never got resolved. The slope that carries water away from my foundation is now a problem I never had before. Uneven and dips in certain areas of my driveway, and roller marks to name a few are issues I have to live with. They end up damaging the corner edge of my eavesdrop without notifying me which I had to call them to repair, even that wasnt done right. Parts of my landscaping was damaged due to heavy equipment and truck tires. Our sidewalk and street got deep scratches and markings everywhere and I repeatedly express my displeasure in the way they was tearing up everything to the supervisors. It just went out one ear to out the the other ear. I dont think Buck Brothers would have done this to their property the they did ours. I feel so upset with myself because I should have followed my first instinct to not sign that contract freeing them from all liability, but I didnt expect this outcome. I should have believed the reviews I was reading about Buck Brothers and I took a regrettable chance. Do not do business with them so unprofessional!!! ******* CReview from Abby M

Do NOT use them. Ever. I put my deposit in April 2023 and nothing got paved and finished until November 2023. My sidewalk had to be replaced per city codes. They ripped it up, poured it incorrectly, had to come back to replace it, and then let it sit for over a month. The lack of communication in this business not just between consumers, but also the staff is horrible. Also when they came and paved, they did not complete my project as they said they would, damaged the siding and downspout on my home.Review from Randy T

Worst company I have ever worked with. Paid my deposit on 5/9 and was told June or July they could complete the job. After calling weekly we finally scheduled a 10/2 date. Waited all day long and not a single phone call from them so I had to call my self to see if they were going to show up and was told the job before mine took longer and they were short staffed so they were going to call later tonight to reschedule. I immediately cancelled as they lied to me weekly for 5 months on when they would come out to do my pool patio. I would never recommend anyone working with this business as they lie about their lead time and then refuse to even call back after multiple requests. Awful service.Review from Joann D

I have a signed contract dated 7/8/2022. This project is to be completed the 2023 season. They came out is did part of the job. The project was 3 different parts 1st part remove appox. 110 sq. ft. of deteriorated pavement. And this was done. 2nd Part is to repair/ replace that area that removed. 3rd Part to crack seal repair and reseal the complete driveway. Well, they had come out and resealed part of the driveway. But I still have the whole 110 sq. ft is still a hole. No new asphalt was put in there. So, IF and When they come out they will need to drive over the newly coated driveway with the heavy machines. And that will cause a breakdown in that seal coating. I have had to call them very frequently. Not getting anywhere. I paid 820.00 on 4/18/23 out of a total bill of 1365.36. I got a bill for 545.36 on9/21/23 I did not pay as the job was not completed. But when I called They said the job was completed. Then on 9/27/23 I got an Over Due bill. I have called the office many times to get this job completed to no avail. I do Know that there had been rain on some days and I get that and the road was closed by house when someone was to come out and look at the job site. 1.5 weeks ago I was told it would be completed on then next good day. Now today I was told by the end of next week. When I called today and ask to speak with the owner they said he was on a job site and would get back to me in 72 hrs. This is now 10/2/23. We will be running out of good days. Please Help. I would either like to work completed right or return my money and I will get other company to do the work.Review from Diana A

after my drive was paved there was blemishes i thought was bad they told me someone looked at it and seen no problem when i talked to that guy he asked which problem i was talking about so he lied to his office about that he told me when it is seal coated it will all disappear 1/2 " of sealer will not work he said the ridges from the roller would go away after i drive on it i have it on video they seen the problems but ignored them if addressed at the time it could have fixed , the high spots will not go away they also kept pushing the date back till i was at the end of july i realize that$8500 is not much to them but it's a lot of money to me i dont think it's to much to ask for a good jobBuck Brothers Asphalt Paving & Concrete Response

It rained the day before they came. The driveway did not seal properly in one area due to the rain. They left clumps of asphalt on the driveway and did not seal all the cracks. I paid one of the employees in cash and the office claims I did not pay them. They have turned me over to the collection agency, due to a dishonest employee. I also I have a service business and would not treat a customer in this manner. Especially from the accounts payable girl. In reading other reviews they aren't to impressive! If you notice on their Website ALL their testimonials are a 5 star. But all other reviews on other sites are NEGATIVE!Buck Brothers Asphalt Paving & Concrete Response

As the owner of the company and doing some internal investigating our records show 2 phone calls for non payment the 1st one being approx 60 days after the project was completed and the 2nd one at 90 days. The first call to you on 8/25/21 was noted a check was being sent and nothing was mentioned of any quality issues or that we where paid in cash. We seal and install 1,000's of projects per year and if a complaint is made it's emailed to me right away in a carbon copy to a supervisor. With the amount of work we do and the amount of employees we have I try to put every system possible in place to prevent these types of things from happening. The payment I'm not concerned with but if there is a problem with the driveway please contact me and we will come out and fix it right away. Also please forward me where you are finding all the bad reviews I'm having trouble locating them.
