We paid 10K to this company for city water hookup, July 2022 Water has been leaking since. A call for the leak a few weeks ago, so that it would happen w spring rain and thawing …more leaking. ***, the owner, on the phone said she had too much new business to get to me. I will go to sylvania court by the end of this week. You can see the patch work, and water running down the wall.Business response

As far as we know, this complaint has been resolved. The original work was done on August 26, 2022. The first time the customer called after the initial service date was in February 2023 about a leak into the basement. We returned within a few days and recemented the inside of their basement wall. A few weeks later we returned a second time and removed all the concrete and re-concreted the basement wall again. On March 13, 2023 we returned to the home a third time and dug out the dirt on the outside of the home and recemented and tarred the outside wall of the home and backfilled the dirt that was dug out to do the work. As of the third visit back we have not heard from the customer. During this time is when we had 3 separate days of receiving a tremendous amount of record rainfall, causing hundreds of basements in our area to leak that had never leaked before. Sewer coming out of the basement going into city sewer line was clogged up. Needed to have drain cleaned out. Called Columbia service partners who had Alternative plumbing come out. Alternative Plumbing put a snake down the sewer that ended up getting stuck. Crew came back the next day to try and get snake out but was unsuccessful. Have made several call to Columbia Service partner and they still have not showed up. In the mean time not able to take a shower or use the bathroom etc.Business response

We were called out to clean a clogged sanitary sewer line. We were unable to clear the blockage because the city's part of the system was broken. We were working with the customer's insurance company and there was a delay in getting approval to continue on the job. When we received approval to continue, it was determined the break was on city property. As far as we know, the city made their repair on the city property side and all is well now.
