I am the guardian for my son, ****** *********, who lives at **** ***** **, ******, ** ***** in conjunction with Sunshine. Sunshine provides 24 hour staff to assist my son at this location. Danberry is the landlord from my understanding. My son rent is paid on time every month. My son has slight mental retardation issues along with mental health issues. For the past 3 months Sunshine has asked Danberry to fix the toilet in basement that can't flush and cannot be plunged. There is a stinking odor in the house because of this issue. Also the central sir needs fixing. Sunshine has also reached out to Danberry to get the central air repaired. Danberry has indicated a date for a repair; and not shown up; and did not call.

I am the Owner of the Danberry Company, upon receiving this complaint yesterday I directly reached out to **** to discuss the problems. From **** I was told that she did not have any real details but was reporting on what she had heard from Sunshine Communities. I followed up with my property Managers to get details. Both the Central Air and Toilet issues were resolved by licensed contractors within 48 hrs of the issues being raised, and we have the logs in our system to show when the request came in, when we were at the house, and when the issues were resolved. I have since followed up with Sunshine Communities but have yet to hear back. **** let me know that her son was moving out of the home anyways, so she wasn't really worried about it anymore. I feel at this point there is some miscommunication or misunderstanding happening at Sunshine Communities but until they respond I'm not sure what to do.
