This company is using mass texting requesting to purchase homes. They have contacted me multiple times on my cell phone with unsolicited requests to purchase my home, which is not on the market. This is spam and should be prosecuted as such.

I am rejecting this response because:Unsolicited text messages are not ok simply because people can type STOP. In fact, no one should not reply to an unsolicited message as a rule of thumb.
Under the TCPA, it is illegal to send unsolicited text messages and if you do, the recipients can take legal action. How is telling me to just reply stop an answer to an illegal marketing activity?

This company keeps mailing me wanting to buy my property at **** ******** ** **** *** *****. this property is a split lot that I own half of (25ft). I have called them and tried to explain this to them and told them to stop mailing but they have not stopped. It's not a big deal, I just keep throwing them in the trash and laugh at their ignorance. Maybe you can make them stop.Business response

I did speak with consumer to let him know that we mail to entire zip codes not just specific people. I will reach out to marketing to let then know. Once the campaign is over the mail should stop.
