I have my own insurance I have homeowners insurance and renters insurance. They still keep trying to charge me for everything They don’t want to listen they just want to say that I owe them I told the lady yesterday I think we need to go to court so we can get a agreement going on on who owe and who don’t home.Business response

Sorry we never intend any of our resident to have this kind of experience.
In regards to your billing issue everything on your ledger is correct. We have never received a complaint Insurance policy from you and we require that each unit be covered under with a compliant renters insurance policy at all times. I have email history of 5/26 explaining how to send your complaint insurance policy to our insurance so we can review and take off insurance going forward. We have still not gotten one sent to us unfortunately so we would not be able to remove the renters insurance charge.
Also we price our apartment very competitively. The actually current market rent we are asking is $689/month for a similar unit in the same building as on 6/14/23.

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because: I paid every month my rent. I don’t known who owe this place no one came out n said we are the new owners. But if you read from a paper that is I don’t care how many times you read it it’s still going to be wrong well I guess I’ll see them in court.
Sincerely,

Hello,
We have reached out to tenant to confirm the date that he stopped using the garage, but have not heard back. Once a response is received from the tenant the rentable item will be removed from this account. If the resident has a valid renters insurance policy please provide us with the statement and the additional $12 will be removed.
Thank you,

***************************** F**************************** Towards the very end of November a couple of Beal Property employees came around asking for any extra apartment keys. They also told us the property has been sold but were unable or unwilling to say who purchased it. They also said the new owner would contact us by November 30th. As of December 11th, it appears no one has been contacted. My December rent is paid. Are they going to forward to the new owners or just keep it? You cannot get thru to anyone on the phone as a live person never picks up. The property manager no longer responds to emails. When I've tried to call her she is no longer in their phone system. I submitted a work order at the end of November along with a few other residents and we aren't getting any response. The work order I submitted was to fix one of two exterior doors in my building. It will no longer open or close. The door is located on the parking lot side of the building leaving us to walk around the entire building when we come and go or need to get to the dumpsters. This same w.o. also requested they fix the second door as it will not close so the building is never locked. It is supposed to be a secured building. The third thing i requested was to replace a hallway burnt out bulb. No access, no lock and dark dingy hallway makes this a scary place to live. Also, I no longer see their company trucks on property. We need to hear from the new property owner a.s.a.p - if there is one. Please help us find out who owns the property, why aren't they contacting us, and what happened to my December rent. ***************************** *************Customer response

This first paragraph is just a litle background information.
Occasionally Beal Properties sends out emails to the tenants. I have never received one myself and neither has several other tenants. They have my correct email because that is what we use to log into our tenants account to pay rent and fill out work order requests. I emailed the property manager several times about this but I still don't receive any of their emails.
I just learned that a tenant did receive an email from Beal stating that there is an issue with the paperwork and the property has not changed hand's yet. They said we would just have to wait.
Only 1 out of four of us in my building received this email. So wouldn't that mean that Beal Properties still owns these apartments and would be responsible for repair's?
Today I noticed part of my buildings roof is flapping in the breeze. A neighbor is claiming their roof is leaking. Also this neighbor like me has very little hot water to shower with. This has been an issue since the hot water went out in the entire building right before Thanksgiving. Again no response from Beal. Showering in luke warm water at this time of year is horrible.
I am trying to get a copy of Beals email to forward to you but the person who told me about it no longer has it.
Again, they won't say who is supposed to be purchasing the property.
I am aware there have been a large amount of work order requesrs submitted but Beal has not responded to any W.O. since the hot water went out in November.
Please help,
Sincerely,
****** ******

Hello,
The property was in contract to sell. Unfortunately, we were not provided with the contact of the new potential owners as they keep that confidential until the sale is complete. Once it was confirmed that the deal had fallen through we were in contact with all residents and have provided service. The resident has since renewed her lease.Initial Complaint

I live on the first floor of the building. The unit above me was being prepped for new tenants and apparently a bathroom sink was installed or was being repaired, and was improperly installed. It leaked water and flooded the unit, and started dripping into the ceiling of my unit. I put in a work order ticket about it, believing it to be a leak from the shower in the unit above (this had happened before). A couple of days later, however, the water damage was visibly spreading and ruined the ceiling in my bathroom and kitchen galley area, as well as the dividing wall between the two and another wall in the bathroom. I had to call the emergency number to get someone over to shut off the water to the unit above and they were who informed me of how it had happened. I was given assurance that the damage would be repaired quickly. However, nobody ever contacted me about it. A couple of weeks later I submitted a work order and still heard nothing back. Now they've sold the property.Business response
