      We gave **** ******, owner of Rite on Roofing, $7,000 as a down payment to put a new roof on our home. We gave him the money on February 23, 2022. He has lied to us since this date, promising date after date he would be completing the job. Now he will no longer return text messages or phone calls. He has stolen our money and we have no recourse if he refuses to return our continued calls. His office address does not exist and the phone number is fake also. Please help. We are desperate!!

      We hired Rite-On roofing on July 12, 2022 **** (the owner) came out the same day. He “Promised” us he would start the work on our roof in 2-3 weeks and took his $6000 deposit. Well Today is October 02, 2022. After five phone calls + voicemails, and 7 emails from us to Rite-On Roofing & Siding asking him to start the job or refund us our deposit back still nothing from **** ( the owner). He responded to three emails but again nothing but false promises. After telling him that we will be bonded to take some legal actions he totally ghosted us. Wish we had done our homework better than we did with this scam company, because he has done this with multiple people. I do not understand how this LLC should or is still operate.

      My husband and I signed a contract April 2nd of this year for $16800. Rite-on was hired to reside our home. We gave him $8400 up front to order the materials, then April 30th he requested another $3600, which he said the material was more then he thought, and the balance would cover the labor. I approved the $3600. I have texted several times for a sample color, three times now he has stated he would drop it off, to date have not seen him again. He advised me he personally would be doing my siding, and was originally told 2nd week in August, we are almost to the end of August and no one has been here. I found the negative reviews yesterday and texted him right away. He said he would be out today to figure out the schedule, I texted him a little at 2:00 said he’d be out after work. I texted at around 7 to see if he was still stopping by, no response. I texted again after 8:00, telling him we want a scheduled date, again no response. He did speak with me, says this all started over his a dispute with his Ex’s aunt. That he does not have a siding crew at this time, but is interviewing a few people next week, but is now looking at November to do my job. I honestly don’t know what to do. I’m so upset over the whole thing. I noticed someone say they had attorney send a letter and no response, that was going to be my next step too.

      My house needed some roof repair so I looked to find roofers to give me an estimate on the cost. I contacted Rite On roofing and siding and spoke with the receptionist, ******. She setup the estimate for a few days later. ******* ******, the owner of Rite On roofing called be back that same day..May 9th. He said that he could swing by that same day to look at my roof and give me an estimate. He called me later that evening and told me the condition of my roof and gave me a price of $ 5200.00 to redo the entire roof. I agreed to the price and he explained that he requires half down now and the rest when the job is complete. So I sent Mr. ****** a cashiers check for $ 2600.00 dated May 10, 2022. He wanted the check sent to his residence because his business office was closed due to Covid-19. I sent the check and texted him a picture of the check as proof. The end of May(31), I called his office and spoke with ****** asking about a time line for the work to be done. She said that she would confer with Mr. ******. I had not heard anything so I called again on July 21 st. asking again for a timeline, ****** said that she would check with Mr. ******. I was told the first week in August is when my roof would be completed. There wasn’t any work don’t the first week of August so I called on August 10th but received No answer. Left a message on the answering machine but received No call back as of today’s date.

      I hired rite on roofing and siding on 4/6/22 to replace my homes roof. Paid a deposit of 4150 dollars on 4/7/22 and was given a time frame of 4 to 5 weeks to complete. **** the company owner then contacted me on 4/26/22 asking to be paid in full. Another 4150 dollars. Said he really needed the money because he was in deep with the ***. I refused to pay anything more until work was completed. We than had no communication until I contacted him on 6/6/22 to inquire about work being completed. He informed me that I was scheduled for the week of 6/27/22. From that day on I have contacted him weekly and been given excuses on why he couldn't complete work by the date he had given me on each of our previous correspondence. I then texted **** on 7/29/22 and stated that I believe him to be in breech of contract. I stated that I needed him to complete work by 8/5/22 or I would need my money refunded so I could find a new contractor. He did not respond until 8/1/22 stating that work could be completed. On 8/3/22 he then contacted again now stating that work would not be done and asking for more time. I responded that I needed my money to find a new contractor. On 8/5/22 he responded to me that he would deliver my money on 8/6/22. It is now 8/7/22 and I have not received my funds and get no communication from the company.

      We paid Rite-on roofing on March 31,2022 $4,925 for half down to start the job and buy the materials. **** wrote on the contract to be completed by 4-23-2022. They did not complete the job and never contacted us. So we contacted the owner and he gave us a new date of May 23-27 and he never showed up again and never bothered to contact us. At this point we asked for our money back. He said he was going to give us a refund and bring a check to us on June 22, 23, 24 and did not bring the check. It has been almost 90 days since we gave him the 1st half of the money and he is not returning it. The owner continues to give excuses.

      Date of contract: 09.26.2021 Date to start work: 10.25.2021 Amount Paid to hold spot: $6800 (50% down payment) What job: Roof complete tear off and replacement Nature of dispute: I have contacted the owner on multiple accounts as well as my husband and the owner continuously pushes the dates for work to be completed back. I have been given at least 4 "2-3 week" time frames for job completion all of which have been pushed back. I know someone personally who has contracted this company after I did that has already had their job completed. Continuous excuses made that he doesn't have staff for the dates or that he can't complete due to weather. Today I contacted him again because he told me he would be out yet again on Friday 06.24/Saturday 06.25 and he has once again pushed the start date back to 06.28 because "that's when he can get his crew out there." Resolve: The owner's way of "resolving" the issue is stating that he will give us a discount (at first $500, then $750 and now $1000) and that we will be happy with his work. I have yet to see him or any of his employees step foot on my property since I had him give me an estimate. I even offered to help him myself to get started. Supporting documentation I have communication between the owner and myself as well as my husband but I am unsure of how to upload them. I can send them in an additional e-mail or something once specified! I also have the text conversation between the other individual that had their roof contracted and completed after I contracted this company.

      I hired rite-on roofing and siding on4-20-2022 to side my garage.the total was $4000 which I gave him half $2000 down to order materials.then two weeks later he called me asking for the other half because he was having business problems so I gave him the other $2000 I do have the paper work showing paid in full.well now the finally showed up on 6-10-2022 for about two hours and put half insulation board up and left, now it's 6-21-2022 and they didn't show or even call. I tried calling and texting with no replay asking for my money back and I'll find someone else.im on dissibilty so $4000 is alot for me to loose.hope you can help me, there # is ************. Hope I didn't get screwed out of my money or siding. Appreciate if you can help me resolve this. Thank you ***** ********
