      My daughter ******** ******** paid in April of 2024 to start her driving school. They contacted her and setup her driving classes, she has only completed 2 of them and on the day of her 3rd one they called her at 3pm when it was supposed to start letting her know that they would have to cancel due to cars needing maintenance. Weeks had gone by and they did not contact her at all. She started to call and left many voicemail and finally someone called her and stated that someone by the name of Sam would call her and setup her last 2 classes. She waited for the phone call and no one has called her back, I personal started to call and no one has returned our calls and it is going 4 weeks that she has heard anything from them. I have even email the company at their email that is posted on their website. On Friday 5/31/2024 her and I went to the location and no one was there is it was during the business hours that are posted on google. We are asking for her to be able to complete the needed classes, or return her money. She will be 18 in Feb and it is getting to the point to where she will not need the classes to get her driving licenses. If they would have completed her classes she would already have her licenses.

      I called about behind the wheels on 4/3/24, they told me a 4-6 week waiting period. I agreed to the waiting period but was told I can’t get on waitlist until I paid in full. I pain in full $489.25 and they have ignored all my calls, text and emails even after she verified she had all the documentation to get my daughter started. I even went to the office during their business hours and the door was locked. I just want my refund at this point because they haven’t provided any updates and it’s being the 4-6 weeks.

      On March 18th, we paid Wheelers to provide a service for our 16-year-old to complete the required driving lessons needed to obtain her driver's license.  At the time of enrollment, we were told her drives would be scheduled at the end of April 2024, which wasn’t a problem, as we understood there was a waiting list.  The end of April came and went with no communication from Wheelers.  So, my daughter and I started calling, leaving messages, and sending emails.  My daughter was finally able to talk to someone from this company and was able to schedule her first drive for Saturday May 11th and she was super excited!  Saturday (May 11th) came, and she received a phone call, stating her drive would need to be rescheduled, because the check engine light came on in the car she was supposed to drive.  She was also told someone would be in touch with her on Monday (May 13th) to reschedule.  She received no call on Monday.  We called Tuesday (May 14th), someone did answer, but only to tell her she was never on the schedule for Saturday, May 11th, she was again told someone would call her back, and we have yet to receive that call.  Since this incident my daughter’s cellphone number has been blocked, and there have been no returned phone calls to myself or my daughter.  I was finally able to get someone to respond to my email(s) I sent on May 16th, 17th, & 23rd, only to be told the following:

      Hello. We do have an eight week waitlist. You can check out our website for any current updated information ***************************.
      Per the signed contract, there are no refunds unless the contract is beyond six months.

      Now we are being told we must wait another eight weeks before driving can begin, unacceptable. When I ask for a refund, I am told no because there was a contract signed, well what about your lack of communication and how you conduct your business? Very dissatisfied and I would not recommend utilizing this company’s services.  They provide poor service and hide behind a contract when you question how they are conducting their business.

      The business was recently bought out. There has been a turn over of staffing.
      Their payment was received March 18. I am not sure which staffing person she spoke to, but we have always been on an eight week wait since we have opened in March 2024. The services contracted will still be provided when it is her child’s turn to drive. 
      There is not a breach of contract on behalf of the Wheelers Driving.

      I am rejecting this response because: there was no communication given and we were provided with inaccurate information. When a business ownership changes, it’s important to notify your customers of such changes and how that may affect the services your customers are anticipating to receive.  Unfortunately, it’s not our issue that you do not have records of who we spoke with.  If you want to stick with the 8 week waitlist, the May 11th  canceled drive was  8 weeks and it’s now week 10/11 since we paid you, and no drives have been scheduled.

      In August 2023 we contracted with Wheeler Driving school to provide in classroom training for the required 24 hours for Ohio drivers license for teens, plus we paid the fee for in class and driving instructions. My grandson attended the in class training and was told he passed. He has all his paperwork . When we signed the contract we were told the driving instructions were a month or two after the classroom. He was in class Sept 2 thru Sept 22. Right after that the school posted it was no longer in business. We have never received any letters, or the certificates of completed in class instruction. No one will answer the phone, the class is locked and no one has responded to my emails. Now, in order to get the driving portion of the instruction, I'm going to have to pay another 520.00 and go on another waiting list, in addition to figure out how to get a copy of the inclass instruction that was completed.

      my daughter completed courses through Wheeler Driving school. They have closed and we are waiting a call for her to complete the instructor portion. I cannot reach anyone and they have not called.
