I am filing this complaint for my mother ***** **** ** **** ******** **** *** ** ******* ** *****. She told me that they were a day late the last week of July, didn't come at all the 1st week of August, and again were late this week. The only reason they came this week (late) was because my mother called to complain. My mother is 73 and the very rude unprofessional woman that she spoke to on the phone gave her an attitude and tod my mother to figure out how to hire more people for them because they are short-staffed...??? This is absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL and INAPPROPRIATE. Vaughn's inability to keep staff is NOT my mother's or any paying customer's problem! My mother has paid ahead for the service until the end of October 2021. They need to refund at least the week that they did not come at all and she told my mother to carry the trash back up her drive until next week..?? My mother is 73 and very weak, she cannot carry heavy trash up and down a large hill because of their ineptitude!Business response

The customers explanation is a bit of an exaggeration of the missed trash and phone call. We do not typically refund for one week 'missed' pick up for 2 reasons. First we do pick up all of the trash the following week and second because they pay for service monthly and there are 3 months with 5 weeks they are receiving 3 extra pick ups thru out the year. We like everyone have had personnel issues, and have worked very hard to maintain good service. Our employees are out all day in frequently horrible weather conditions, and it is true we have been resistant to asking them to go back out for individual customers. MS **** also failed to recognize the schedule change which we did notify our customers wwould be occurning. I will happily refund the remainder of MS **** balance if you would like to choose another service provider.
