      • Date of transaction: April 9, 2024 • Amount paid to Farmers Equipment Inc, ******: $1063.04 • We took our zero turn lawn mower to Farmers Equipment Inc ****** to be repaired, because we were not able to get it running. It sat there for about 2 weeks after our scheduled appointment before they even looked at it. The fixed the initial issue, but told us it needed more work to get it running. We approved approx $700 worth of work to it. They called us today, 4/9/2024 and told us it was repaired and all we needed to do was install the air filter and it would run fine. Installed the air filter, and it would still not run. We called them to inform them it still was not fixed. They told us “if we wanted a mower without problems we should have bought a new one” Service department has failed to offer resolution, even though they told us that it would be running after the work they had done to it. Service department was incredibly rude throughout the enter process, and very unprofessional.

      •Customer was told it would be two weeks before it would be able to be seen by our shop.  Customer said they were moving and wanted to get the mower out of their way so the 2 weeks was ok.   The unit was brought to the shop  incomplete (had no airbox, air filter, no carb linkages)- were told it had been purchased at an estate sale.  Appeared they tried to get it running themselves... their instruction were to "get it running"   Shop informed customer that there was debris in the tank and instructed them to get that fixed- customer ok'd the shop fixing this which increased their quote to $1,100.  

      Customer then sent someone to pick the unit up.  It was running and was loaded onto a trailer.  Later called by the customer and told father in law had picked it up, started mowing with it and it stopped.  Customer demanded his money back at that point.  Solution was offered to send a technician out to examine the unit- if it was something our shop had done we would fix for $0-- If it was something else then the customer would have to pay for it.  Customer did not agree.
