      I have been doing business with them for 5 years & never had any problems with them until now, On 3/28/24 I dropped my MKX off d/t a leak, on 3/29/24 Dalton called saying it was my water pump & it was covered under warranty & he had to call to get it approved. I said no hurry (thinking since he just let me bring it in with no appointment & I was sure someone had a scheduled appointment & he would work on 1 or 2 cars before mine), 2 weeks went by I had heard nothing, so I called, & Dalton told to call my insurance because an animal had climbed in my engine & chewed hoses & other things $800 in damage,. Dalton said i told him no hurry so he let my car sit for 2 weeks, he lied & said he had been trying to reach me & couldn't (I always have my phone with me). My son who is a certified mechanic told them the shop he works at would have ate the cost & the response was we don't do that here. They told my husband & son that when we sign the paper to give permission to work on vehicle that it says they are not responsible for any damage done on their property. They would not accept accountability & fix it for free, so my insurance had to pay $800. I didn't trust they fixed everything, so I sold it myself & then went to Dave Knapp Lincoln of Greenville & bought a Nautilus, Beau Townsend have been trying to get me to trade in my MKX for a newer model the whole 5 years I had it, but after what happened I refused to sell it to them.

      Well unfortunately not all businesses are interested in keeping their word or working with integrity. Jamie Spencer, General manager of Beau Townsend ford in Vandalia, OH, contacted me about a trailer we had advertised on Facebook marketplace. They wanted to buy it and he asked if I would deliver it. I said only if it was paid in full. (The dealership is over 3 hours away.) Jamie said that they couldn’t pre-pay, but said they would have a check ready when we got there. We finally agreed and he sent me a picture of the check. When we arrived, Jamie wasn’t there and asked me to meet his commercial mgr, Colt. Colt came out and did some measuring and said they couldn’t use it because it is not a car hauler. Wait a minute, Jamie ASSURED me we were just picking up a check. Deal is done. Long story short, Colt refused to give me our check and kept saying that I had misrepresented the trailer claiming I had advertised it as a car hauler. The trailer is exactly as I had described it in our ad. I said Nothing of it being a car hauler. So now, Jamie Spencer said he would “pay for the trip” but now he is just ghosting me and hasn’t sent that check either. So my nearly 8 hours, 400 miles, fuel, expenses and frustration are worth nothing at Beau Townsend Ford #integrity #wordsmatter #beamanofyourword

      Women Beware: Sales Manager Bret discriminates against women. He is a bully. Talked to me like I was 5 years old. Told me if I kept talking, that he would not even sell the truck to me. Taunted me to dare and speak. He very much tried to intimidate me, but I did not cower to him. I told him to quit being an a@@, and he told me I was really "tough." Backstory: I ordered a Maverick 8 months ago and it came in. Upon inspection of it, I observed a crease/dent, and several scuffs on the fender. I requested a lower price or maybe accessory as compensation, but instead, I got attitude and intimidation from the sales manager, who clearly DID NOT want to sell me the truck, when he knew he could sell it for 10K over the MSRP, to someone who didn't order it, since this truck is in such high demand. This "manager" is very, very unprofessional, and treats women like something on the bottom of a shoe. He should be terminated. In all honesty, I got up, and told him to go to he//, and walked out...even though I had sold my car in anticipation of getting this truck, the day before. That's how bad I was treated here. I wonder how many other people this has happened to? Scam? Do not do business here.

      I had to get a new truck for my company. Went to Beau Townsend, I found a truck. The price was right. The staff made the whole process go smoothly. I was able to take the truck the same day I looked at it. I have purchased vehicles from Beau Townsend before and plan on future vehicle purchases in the future. ******** ******* * *******

      On March 9, 2022 Beau Townsend Ford Lincoln Inc. replaced a vent valve and PCM due to fault with EVAP Controls in my wife's 2001 Lincoln LS. Before that they had replaced the Fuel Pump and one day after getting Lincoln back from that repair the check engine light came on for what I am describing. The total of this bill was $1687.95 with $706.02 being for the PCM (Computer). After getting Lincoln back the battery started going dead. Dan the Service Advisor said that for $500.00 he thinks he could find the drain on the battery. I had taken Lincoln to Grismer TIre in Englewood to get new tires and he said he thinks his mechanic could find the battery drain. I left the Lincoln there and they traced it to the New Computer. I called Dan the Service Advisor at Beau Townsend and he said that his mechanic said that couldn't be the problem. I found a new computer for $190.00 from Flagship One and went ahead and ordered it to see which mechanic was right. It has a lifetime warranty. Grismer Tire replaced the computer and I haven't had to charge the battery since. I contacted Beau Townsend Service Manager but he gave me to Dan the Service Advisor who said that there is nothing that Beau Townsend can do regarding what I consider a Faulty Computer. On the invoice it states that most Ford/Lincoln Parts have a 2 Year Warranty but I guess that it does not apply to this faulty Computer because it is not Ford Lincoln Part. My reason for writing is to warn other potential customers of Beau Townsend Service. This is the first time that I have had problems with Beau Townsend Ford Lincoln Service Department.
