We used to have a dealer and had no issues. Our dealer left about 2 years ago and since then, I have broken a few tools. Since we don't have a dealer, I have repeatedly reached out to corporate via email and have not heard a word. Today, I happened to see a dealer and attempted to have tools replaced or fixed. I was told he was too busy and eventually we might get a dealer to service our area.So here I sit with a few tools that are useless. Do not recommend buying anything from them because once they sell you, they could care less about you.Cornwell Quality Tools Company Response

In all honesty, i simply cant even give them 1 star but it made me leave a star unfortunately... My fiance has gotten tools through this company for the last 5 yrs, making scheduled on time payments, WEEKLY to their tool truck driver (name wont be listed) or they come out automatic, now so happens, he didn't show up to collect payment for 2 weeks leaving my fiance "past due" on quite a hefty tool bill.. how he was passed due as he was still making weekly automatic payments that were more than his actual scheduled amount? Beyond me, AND double payment the following week to tool guy for his no show that never got counted and he told us "he'd call to make it right" pocketed money? long story short Cornwell Tools submitted NOT ONCE but 5 times to credit bureau for "non-payment" mind you, we have all bank statements proving he's paid and up to date(from when tool guy didn't show), with a letter from Cornwell stating the same thing that he's STAYED up to date on payments, We got in contact with them multiple times,(talking to 3 different people in tech credit) with being talked to rudely, hung up on, told its our fault, they "cant" help us or trying to blame their payment system.. etc, We can understand a "late payment" but to submit to the bureau 5 times since September 2023 is absurd and to be shut down when we've just wanted questions answered or to simply speak to someone and told they WILL NOT remove 4 reports with proof of payment that we've sent to their so called "managers/directors" seems sketchy. i have never been one to voice my opinion in this kind of matter, or shame a company but with the way this company is, with absolutely no help it has become over the top with stress and frustration. I would not recommend this company to anyone, they are careless and their customer service is HORRIBLE, i've worked in customer service for 8yrs and this is no way to treat customers, especially when its a fault on the company not the customer!Review from Roy P

Don't buy a tool box from them it's only warranty is 90 days. I have a tool box with a side power drawer am got shocked with 110 volts as a result of the power cord in the drawer failed and electrified the box. Cornwell customer service told me it's not under warranty. Buy from *******, ***** or ****** ******* at least they will take care of you.Review from Jonathan H

Worst company ever will never buy or support this company again. I have been fighting with them for 3 yrs that their tool sales men (*************************) was cheating me out of tools I purchased and never received for 6 months and over charged me on tools when he was still coming to the shop. Then he stopped coming to the shop after I reported it to cornwell tools to have him investigated. Their customer service is s*** They think theyre always right and the customer is wrong. They dont give a s*** that theyre stealing your money. And none of the management is ever there and most of them are even bigger a******* than the ones who answer the phone. I will only for now on purchase snap on tools bc they at least look out for their customers because they know thats how they keep their doors open.Cornwell Quality Tools Company Response

Was sold tools with lifetime warranty and now sales guy refuses to warranty them out. Have a bunch of broken stuff and a couple items are time sensitive on warranty. Have talked to corporate office and district manager with no resolution of my problem. I tried to get in a vehicle accident to get one of their route vendors to talk to me. Poor service some of the tools break way too easy for the price Ive waited for months been stuck with tools that are supposed to be covered by warranty and havent been fixed so finally said forget about it mainly because of the excuses I kept getting from the regional manager the tool dealer and the company itself and some payments Ive made havent been applied to my account I honestly regret any business with them terrible companyReview from Nicholas W

The worst company I have ever worked with. Their lending department is awful. They disrespected me, blatantly lied to me and repossessed a tool box from my shop that was NEVER behind saying I abandoned it. The route driver couldn't stop it because they threatened him for my 1500$ balance. I paid it off in the morning. So much for trying to build credit up. Not to mention damages to your character when someone puts you out there like that at your employer. If you get a *********************** I suggest asking for someone else. I never had some one yell at me through a phone after pretending to be nice 45 min earlier. Especially a lender or an employee like that.Review from Craig R

I am filling out complaint a out a distributor from cornwell tools. Named ********************* of ******* routes. I owed him ****** $300 on truck account, so oneday i authorized him to swipe my debit card to make a $20 payment, and this scum bag saved my card information and without my consent or me even knowing about it he was secretly running my debit card sometimes even two payments a week at whatever amount he felt like running it for. And i have banking statements proving this! I was fully prepared and willing to make my payment's when he would come to collect! After i let him swipe my card that day he just up an vanished and stopped coming to my place of employment! So once i found out he was secretly using my banking information, i contacted *************** and he acted like it was my fault for owing a tool truck **** and he basically acted like running my card without my knowledge was ok to do! I am going to file a theft case against him for this! I have contacted cornwell tools customer service multiple occasions and filed complaints against him and i have yet to even receive any contact back regarding this matter. Cornwell tools lets crooks do their business and treat customers like scum, when we basically pay their checks and their taxes for them! Im extremely disappointed and disgusted and displeased with this company! Word of mouth travels **** lighting! I am new to this area yet here long enough to know local dealer has been around twice in 5 weeks. i was wanting to expand my tool box and found out that gloss black(the flag ship of the platinum series in 2019) is no longer available. Told local dealer i wanted to add hutch and locker said ok than got on his truck and left. the next time he showed up i reminded him i wanted to expand the tool box, all he said was no more gloss black and has not been back since. call corporate and get his regional manager leave a message and 2 weeks later no return call. call corporate again to see if they could knock some off box and all they said was "we do not offer any discount/credit for not having gloss black option after 3 years. Now switching to a more reliable customer service and tool truck that shows up and works with their customers and i do not even like the brand *******
