To ServPro team...Our house in ******** flooded in March 2021, ServPro started working on it in March 2021, it will not be completed this year, that is a certainty, if youre going to blame the pandemic for product shortages or slow service, think again. Poor service? Closed during business hours? Failure to deliver? Covid excuses are everywhere and customers are over it.A Covid excuse shirks responsibility while communicating the problem in the form of an excuse, akin to business owners simply giving up and letting customers suffer, It has never been OK to blame the pandemic for poor service.Successful entrepreneurswho are, by definition, problem solvers, don't rely on excuses Excuses are for losers, Although tossing off a Covid excuse may seem benign, it creates a messaging problem because its likely deceitful: Customers are now savvy to the fact that supply chain, safety, and staffing challenges are well-established market conditionsnot sudden pandemic blows. The rule of thumb here is that pandemic explanations are OK; excuses are not.

Hired a subcontractor to complete work for ************** and the sub did not come through with timely nor quality customer service. Had problems with ordering materials and showing up. We fired that sub and replaced him with a more responsible contractor who is now completimg the work at an acceptable pace to **************. He is more pleased with this sub and the quality of his work and communication. Email correspondence is flowing smoothly between customer and sub. Work is scheduled for completion on March 16 which meets the customers satisfactory level.
