Great at hiding things from clients and are unapologetic as well as a lack of accountability.

This is our second round of using Train Your Pup. Our dog has been going there this last time for several months. Yesterday, midafternoon, my boyfriend was on his way to pick up our dog. He received a call from them stating that our dog had gotten out. They were out looking for her. A short time later, we found our dog dead along by some railroad tracks. She had been hit by a train. I don’t care what stories this place tries to say about how my dog got out. This company was being paid to take care of our beloved pet. They did not. You failed to administer basic care on keeping my dog safe. SHAME ON YOU.

I started taking my dog to Train Your Pup, in January to get her socialized with other dogs and people since she has been having some aggression issues. The aggression trainer came out to the house and has worked with us and our dog had been doing AMAZING. I dropped her off at daycare this morning and an hour and a half later I get a frantic call from my daughter (who was at work) stating some man called the clinic and said my dog ran into his place of employment (Copart) and he had my dog. Freaking out I called him and told him I was on my way and wanted to know if she was OK. Now let’s go back to the issue of someone lost my dog. By the time the employees at Copart checked the dog license, called the vets office to reach out to me, tracked me down, and time for me to get there we figure she had been gone an hour. Still no phone call from Train Your Pup staff. I went to get her belongings and was met at the door by an employee and the first thing she said was “did someone find your dog” and she has only been gone 10 minutes, seriously… I realize I was screaming aggressively but not once did they ask me if my dog was ok. They are located near a busy intersection and my dog could have been killed, did I mention no one called me. Several hours later the owner called me and took very little responsibility stating her staff was picking up poop and my dog dug a hole and slipped under the fence and got away. My dog is not a Chihuahua she is a 65lb pit, that had to be a hell of a hole not to mention she has NEVER dug. I have always been weary of letting people take care of my animals and will NEVER entrust anyone to take care of her again, they ruined that for her. The sad thing is that she was enjoying playing with friends and she will no longer have that. Please think twice before giving this place your business… If I could give them a -10 review I would.

So Incredibly Disappointed I was drawn to Train Your Pup by their good reviews and signed my new puppy up for a few training classes in November (right before the holidays). Unfortunately, like so many people, I came down with COVID and missed a few classes, and then I found out my mom had cancer and missed a few more. I called Train Your Pup to see if I could move my training dates to the next set (because December was just not working out for me) but was finding it hard to get ahold of someone. When I finally did get someone to answer the phone, it was with a complete lack of understanding and unwillingness to help. They refused to roll me to the next set of classes or give me a refund (and I was so open to working with them)! Clearly Train You Pup does not care for the dogs or people they claim to be "their number one priority." In fact, I would say they only care about money.
