      Ordered some artificial sausage casings from lem. When you dry sausage, the casings should shrink along with the meat. These did not. I also used another companies casings at the same time and they shrank as they were supposed to so it was not something I did wrong. Tried contacting them, they didnt respond. I now have 100 lbs of useless meat and cheese another 100 useless casings because they wont take them back. Tried giving them a rating on their own site, but that was to no avail. Do not buy from them if you ever think that you might need service.

      In response to this BBB complaint, LEM has reviewed all of its records to confirm the following. The individual customer purchased meat casings on 12/30/2024 through LEMProducts.com. On January 9, 2024, the customer called customer service. On the call the customer states they would like to ‘return an order, it's just the wrong size for what I need. I screwed up.’ The customer service rep asked for their order number which was provided. He was then told that our policy did not allow for us to take casings back, as they are considered a food item. To which he stated that they are the ‘artificial ones’. The rep then apologizes. To which he replies, ‘that is life’. Based on this conversation, we disagree with his claim that he ‘Tried to contact, they didn’t respond’. A review of our inbound telephone records fail to find any additional calls from the customer. Customer has submitted several product reviews stating the casings did not shrink along with the sausage meat. The casings purchased by the customer are not intended to shrink. Our casings with collagen middle accomplish this task, and from the response of the customer per the phone call he acknowledges that he purchased the wrong casings. Customer also claims to have sent ‘multiple emails about this with no reply.’ An investigation of our email server concluded that no emails were received from customers email address. Per customer ratings on our site, as previously mentioned, customer reviewed product three times. Two of his reviews are on the site as written. We believe we have respectfully serviced the customer, as well we have explained that the casings he purchased do not shrink and the policy of food items being non-returnable.

      As Previously stated, that was not my phone call to lem. The casings were the right size. I did not start emailing them until much after the 9th. Bunch of ****!!

      Checked my records, did not even use these until 1/13/24. Why would I have called on 1/09/24? Check your records. That was not my telephone call.

      I never purchased nothing from your website but then I had 2 fraudulent charges two my account over 500 dollars. Lem Product would not help knowing I didn’t purchase any items buyers beware this is a scam company check your bank account

The order was charged to a credit card with your name and address and the items were shipped to this same billing address. If you saw 2 "charges" are on your account, please clarify with your credit card company that one of the transactions is an authorization and one of the transactions is the actual capturing of funds. This is a standard credit card process to authorize a credit card at time of order and then capture funds when the order ships.If you did not place this 1 order, please call your credit card to report fraud. We also do not have a record of you contacting LEM. In this email, you stated that you sent an earlier email with photographs, but unfortunately that email was not received by LEM. Subsequent to 1/31 email, It appears there were several emails sent back and forth between LEM and you to understand the issue and ultimately determine that you will return the defective grinder and LEM would ship a new grinder.
