These people are thieves, They sell factory seconds as new Go Elsewhere Stay Away !

Our internal examination into this order uncovers the following.  First, Mr. ******* ordered our 3 gallon Ohio Stoneware Fermenting Crock Set on 12/21/23. The kit comes with a crock, lid and weight.  Each are sold separately but combined into a ‘set’ for selling.  Our order records show that as of 1/16/24 the customer had not received one of the kit items (weights).  These crocks are hand made in Ohio.  This means each and every crock will have human imperfections / unique / distinct elements due to nature of being hand made.  Ohio Stoneware has been making crocks for 19 years and is well known and appreciated by many consumers. 
Customer called Roots & Harvest on 12/28/23.  Customer was disappointed in crock.  When asked for a picture of why customer was disappointed our CSR along with our product expert recognized that the customer had placed the lid on incorrectly.  CSR suggested making the correction in lid placement.  Customer then requested to return product.  Per Roots & Harvest return policy customer was informed that ‘Roots & Harvest will refund the purchase price or replace the item. Shipping is not refundable and is the responsibility of the customer.’ Our policy is clear, consistent, and not unique in the direct-to-consumer market.  Customer has now chosen to provide Roots & Harvest with a single star review while calling Roots & Harvest ‘thieves’ and claiming to ‘sell factory seconds as new’. 
Roots & Harvest purchases new, handmade crock, lid and weights directly from Ohio Stoneware not factory seconds.
