I HAD A CONTRACT WITH ALL PITCH ROOFING/LUIS R****** TO COMPLETE FOUNDATION WORK ON MY HOUSE IN FEBRUARY 2022. THE CONTRACT WAS FOR TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS. LUIS UTILIZED HIS EMPLOYEES TO DO THE WORK BECAUSE HE HAD TO TRAVEL TO MEXICO SO HIS WIFE COULD RECEIVE CITIZENSHIP IN THE US. LUIS' EMPLOYEES BEGAN THE WORK WHILE HE TRAVELED ABROAD. LUIS WAS OUT OF THE COUNTRY APPROXIMATELY THREE WEEKS WHILE THE WORK WAS BEING DONE. LUIS NOTIFIED ME WHEN HE RETURNED TO THE US TO LET ME KNOW HE WOULD HAVE THE JOB COMPLETE IN ANOTHER WEEK. THE JOB ENDED UP GETTING COMPLETED BY LUIS IN MAY 2022. IN JULY 2022, I NOTICED WATER WAS BACKING UP IN THE BASEMENT FROM THE RAIN OUTSIDE SO I BEGAN TO GET SUSPICIOUS ABOUT THE WORK PERFORMED. I CONTACTED LUIS HE CAME AND FIXED A CRACK IN THE FOUNDATION THAT REOPENED FROM THE INITIAL WORK HE PERFORMED. THE BASEMENT NEVER DRIED COMPLETELYBOUT FROM THE RAIN; MOISTURE REMAINED ON THE WALLS. AUGUST 2022 I HAD THE ENTIRE FOUNDATION DUG AGAIN BY A DIFFERENT COMPANY. IT WAS THEN DETERMINED THE WORK PERFORMED WAS NOT DONE AS THE CONTRACT SPECIFIED. THERE WAS A SECTION OF THE FOUNDATION NOT COMPLETED AT ALL. I CALLED LUIS SEVERAL TIMES AND LEFT VOICE MESSAGES; EVEN TEXT MESSAGES. HE FINALLY RESPONDED A WEEK LATER. LUIS R****** ADMITTED HE'S RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS EMPLOYEES DOING A POOR JOB ON THE FOUNDATION. LUIS TRIED TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION BY OFFERING ME TO PURCHASE A REHAB HOUSE FROM HIM. I LET HIM KNOW THAT DOESN'T HELP ME AT THIS POINT. I REACHED BACK OUT TO HIM VIA TEXT 9/16/2022 TO LET HIM KNOW I AM WILLING TO ACCEPT A PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT. I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM HIM. I AM REQUESTING A REFUND OF FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS. THIS DOES NOT COVER THE CURRENT DAMAGE I HAVE ENCOUNTERED WITH THE ENTIRE FOUNDATION WALL CRACKING BECAUSE IT WASN'T REPAIRED ACCORDING TO THE CONTRACT.\Business response

ALL PITCH was hired by **** ****** to do
Foundation work on the interior and exterior foundation walls at **** *********. Work was done right I Luis R****** CEO of ALL PITCH did not reach out to her right away becuase I took of work early for the holidays. As soon as I was back to work I reached out to her which it was sep,6,22 but no answer on her behalf. Finnally we spoke she had told me the work was wrong, I said it wasn't and she said that someone else had fixed it. I should of had at least a six day notice after the holiday to adress any problem with the foundation. The fact that I was having a hard time reaching her before I fixed the crack on interior foundation and other issues of payment a few weeks prior to her reaching out to me, I think of it and my thought is she could of been a little more considered knowing that it was a holiday weekend and we all have family, but instaead she expected me to contact her when I was out and not taking calls. Work that was not inspected by ALL PITCH upon customer saying it was wrong, does not have warranty. Especially if customer did not allow ALL PITCH or given the proper amount of time to see for its self that what customer stated in the compliant is accurate and true. ALL PITCH should of had the opportunity to come out and see the issues. Customer demanded 15,000.00 for something ALL PITCH is not certain is true. ALL PITCH acknowledges that the work was done right and tried to help customer but customer did not except help and took action on it's own by having someone else come out and touch work.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.Luis R****** states he reached out to me on September 6, 2022, but there was no answer. The foundation work that was done incorrectly was completed in March 2022 when Luis was in Mexico working to get his wife a green card. In a conversation on the phone with Luis in September, Luis admitted to being responsible for his employees doing the work wrong and he tried to offer me two houses he owns that needs rehab work done on them to settle this dispute. I let him know I wasn't interested in those properties. I want cash money which is what he was paid.
The pictures attached to thia dispute substantiate Luis R****** doing a terrible job on the exterior foundation. The pictures also show a section of the foundation where his employees did absolutely nothing to the foundation which was not a part of the contractual agreement
