They damaged my key fob and when I complained to *** he said they would fix it. Their solution was to glue it together. I was definitely not happy. Told them that would not work for me. I wanted a replacement key fob. I stole them I did not want some after market cheap key fob replacement that would quit working on 6 months. I wanted a dealer fob just like the one they broke. I took the car in again for them to replace it . They replaced it with a generic key fob that costs $21 . They left the package and order trash in my car. I had even offered to call my dealership and order the key fob and they said no. They stated they could get a better price from the dealership. I complained. I asked to speak to a manager or the owner. I felt like *** at the counter talked down to me as a women. I know they wouldn’t have pulled this crap if I was a car loving guy. No one who knows anything about cars would take a cheap generic part in place of an authentic dealer part that was broken. *** contacted me said he would talk to the boss. Never heard from them again. After I spent multiple days try to get this handled. Look at there reviews they have a habit of replacing broken parts with cheap knockoffs. If you are a women go somewhere else where you at respected and not treated like a second class citizen.Business response

According to my technician and shop manager the key was already broken when the customer came in to get a new key fob for her remote start. However because we can't prove that then i am happy to give a full refund for the work that was provided on March 2nd if that is what the customer wants. She can email me at *******[email protected] and let me know if she would prefer a check in the mail or refund if she used a credit card.Initial Complaint

Ordered Katzkin leather and seat heaters / coolers to be installed in my '21 F150. Katzkin does not do the install, but will only sell to authorized installers (like Auto Additions), so I had no option to install myself. Installation was scheduled on 10/25/2021 at Auto Additions. Due to manufacturing issues, they could not complete the install. I asked them to just provide my truck back and I will cancel the order, but they stated that they had already done the rear seats. I picked it up that evening, and noticed that my rear seat quick release that was installed (manufactured by BuiltRight industries) was not there. I informed them that they would need to install it / replace it. They said OK, when I bring it back for the front seats. I took it back on 11/1/2021 (I believe that was the date) and they completed the front seats. I noted that the quick release was still not correct - they had rigged up some make shift release handle, but did not replace the built right. I informed that this was not correct, and he said he'd talk to his manager and they would make it right. I'd get a call back next day. Next day, "He's out." 2 days later, I texted again, no response. I provided them with the part name, part number, and all information to order the part from ****** (about $26.00) and have it shipped directly to my house where I can install it. I am not going to drive 1 hour each way (traffic up that way is HORRIBLE) just to pick this up, burning 4 gallons of gasoline, for something I can install once it is delivered to my home. Rob has not returned phone calls or texts / emails on this issue. I just want the part shipped to my home to install.Business response

We have ordered the requested part from ****** that the customer is claiming was missing and will ship to his house as requested .. he should have it by Nov 24th. I emailed the customer letting him know and confirming his address.Customer response

I accept the business's response to resolve this complaint. It is a shame that I had to get the BBB and the Ohio Attorney General involved before Auto Additions would just do “the right thing” of fixing a problem that their company caused. The complaint and comments should be kept public so others can know how the situation played out, but in the end, my word means something, and I said I would have closure if they just replaced the part they broke / misplaced, and that was done.
