This is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. We had an RV bath on fire, had GAP coverage with this company. Filed a claim 3/2024, till this day only received initial email from claims adjuster and have not heard from her since. Within days we provided all requested documents only to be told in May that we were missing some bank info. Immediately emailed them the requested info on 5/9 and it is now late July and I have called almost daily for the past week and still no response. When I call the general line I am told that they are emailing the adjuster to provide and update and still NOTHING. This business is a joke, why pay for GAP insurance if the company is just going to take months to process your claim. My own insurance took less than one month to process my claim. National Auto Care has been a breeze to work with when it came to my wife's vehicle. We found out that the transmission had gone through catastrophic failure and needed to be replaced and have the new one reprogrammed for a pretty hefty sum. I called NAC and asked for a referral to a preferred repair shop and they paid to have the vehicle towed there. There has been zero issues from the diagnostic phase through the estimate and having the repair authorized. Thanks to NAC I'll be paying my deductible instead of an $8k bill. The owner of the repair shop the car is at even commented on how easy NAC's claim department was to work with.National Auto Care Corporation Response

Very upset with this company!! They take your money but dont want to pay for any service needed on my car! I had to fix my AC upfront because of the heat! Wasnt about to wait for them to approve...it wouldve taken too long! Now they dont want reimburse me!! I paid over 2000 for this stupid extended warranty...never again!! this place sucks!!!!!!!! I can’t express my disappointment in this company enough. My 2020 ***** that I have an extended warranty on through this “company” has been sitting at the Chevrolet dealer for over a month because the dealership couldn’t get approval on what needed to be done. When I contacted National Auto Care they told me that they had not gotten the information that they needed to approve it. I work at the sister company of this dealership and I know for a fact that they had been given the proof, when I called them out on it, they ignored my email and I never heard back from them. Now a month later my ***** is ready to pick up and instead of my $250 deductible, I have to pay $1,033.73 because of things that they won’t cover. When the engine comes apart internally, wouldn’t you think everything involved would be included? Nope. I could understand if it was due to a lack on maintenance or something I did, but it wasn’t. I paid over $2,000 for this warranty with the understanding that if anything happened i would pay my $250 deductible and I would be on my way. I will never buy this extended warranty again and I will warn anyone that I can to do the same. If I could give 0 stars, I would.National Auto Care Corporation Response

Our RV purchased in 2022 with a National warranty (over 15K dollars) had ia failure of a carburetor on the generator. First claim ....denied! Due to the diaphragm coming apart in the pump. The filter on the Onan gensets is before the pump. It was denied because it was plugged up with diaphragm material. I tried explaining that was not a normal service item like oil, oil filter, air filter ect. Still denied, oh yeah no one in Colorado would service it because according to them National does not pay them for work done, nor parts they put in. Had to get back to Texas to get someone to look at it and was informed they don,t like messing with warranties due to non payment. If you purchase one of these warranties it worth less than toilet paper. The toilet paper will be useful at least. When I got this extended warranty I was assured it covered everything for my vehicle. Well I have been denied twice for repairs. So far as I am concerned they are garbage. Will deny everything. So I will definitely be asking for a refund.National Auto Care Corporation Response

I paid almost $3000 for this auto protection in 2019. I’ve never used it. I had an oil leak on my head gasket and I was over on my mileage by 800 miles and I literally cried to a representative because I am not working, I’m going through some hardship about to lose my house And they could not assist me again. I was over in mileage the expiration of my contract it expires in October 2024. I left a message to a manager and it’s been two days and I have not got a call back. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!! this company is a scam. PURCHASED GAP through them, Had my car totaled in NOVEMBER, it is now mid March and I continue to get push back about paying the remaining portion. By far, the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Each time I call to get an update on my claim, they tell me they have not put my documents into the system yet because they were “bombarded with emails”. This went on for several weeks. I would call, sit on hold for 40+ min, only to be told to call back the next week and try again. I’ve emailed my point of contact several times as well with no response. Finally, I called and they told me my documents have been updated and that I should have an update by the end of the week. It’s been 2 weeks now, no update, no email, no phone call. Thanks to GAP insurance taking their sweet time, I now have 2 car payments, though the car I filed a claim for was deemed a total loss - I needed a new car to get to and from work and couldn’t wait 3 months for GAP to go through. I have stressed this to them and they don’t seem to care that this car accident has left me in a terrible financial position and absolutely ruined my physical health.National Auto Care Corporation Response
