            Jan. 5-2021. I received a quote from Scott at the Door Depot. $995.00 plus $300.00 to add windows for replacement of a new garage door. March 11, 2021 The door was installed and I was presented an invoice for $1675.00 (plus tax $125.63). This was without any notice. I called Scott ( company owner) to ask for an explanation as it was 30% higher than the quote given on the base price. I thought I had been a good customer. I have used his company many times in the past at my residence and my place of employment. He asked if a refund would settle our dispute. I offered $100.00 and Scott offered a credit of $150.00. I left messages and I have received nothing.

            Instead of the installer replacing my old keypad, he left it there and put the new keypad on the other side of the garage door. When I brought it to his attention, he told me I can move it and show me where the screw was. Then I said, but there will be two ones in my house where they shouldn't be. He mumble something and I was working from home and at work so I didn't want to argue with him and wrote the check. I was so angry, I filed a BBB complaint. After leaving a message for the company to express my anger. Then like a hero, Scott came out to view the problems and with his very sweet and professional attitude, he was able to calm me down and melt my heart. He repair the problem and made it seamless. So I'm very please with the final results and won't hesitate at using Door Depot in the future.
