I purchased A Vehicle From Omg Motors with a 16,000$ loan an hour after leaving the the transmission started going out I took it back they told me I had a 90 Day Warranty & that whatever was broken will be fixed or replaced it took them two weeks to even get it into the service department I was told they put a brand new transmission inside within a week the transmission has gone out again I have missed 3 days of work & have had to get two rental cars at this pointBusiness response

The customer took 2 test drives after I told him I would not sell him a vehicle without a test drive. The combined time of both test drives were about 1 hour. We never forced or directed him to select the referenced vehicle; merely just gave him the options of what vehicles were available with his pre approval. The vehicle was sold as is with us and he reviewed and signed the federal buyers guide. The vehicle does come with a 90 day / 3000 mile powertrain warranty administered through a third party that covers up to $1000. He was given the coverage information at the time of purchase. It is unfortunate that his vehicle developed transmission issues. Like anything that is mechanical things can go bad at anytime; no one can predict such events. After becoming aware of the issue we scheduled his vehicle to be evaluated. After evaluation we ordered a transmission and scheduled it be installed. Out of courtesy we replaced the transmission without billing the warranty company. With the third party warranty, he can go to any certified service center to have his vehicle serviced up to the $1000 limit.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: first off I I took 1 test drive of the vehicle in question & definitely was not gone for an hour that’s completely absurd also the initial vehicle I picked out was a Ford Fusion I only settled for the Nissan rouge after I was told the I was not able to get the the Ford Fusion of the Volkswagen Jetta I was then told that the Nissan rouge was one of the better cars on his lot I was told that whatever was wrong with the vehicle would be fixed which is why he paid out of pocket instead of going through the warranty I’m just flabbergasted by the lies that are being told now all I wanted was a vehicle to get me & my wife back & forth to work which is what I told him at the time of purchase I am currently paying 483$ a week for rental cars on top of a car payment & have driven the car for less then two weeks I just would like them to make this right because the only thing I did was trust this man which was an absolute mistakeBusiness response

The vehicle was sold As-Is. On the Federal buyer guide that the customer reviewed and signed, it states the vehicle is "AS IS - NO DEALER WARRANTY". There is a "NON-DEALER WARRANTY" that we provide at no additional cost through ASC WARRANTY. This warranty provides 90 days / 3000 miles whichever comes first up to $1,000 in coverage; what's covered is listed on the agreement that the customer reviewed and signed. We replaced the transmissions without charging the customer and the cost of doing so was greater than $1000. I would also make note that the customer drove over 3,000 miles in the few weeks he had possession of the vehicle. The issues with the transmission may be related to how he operates the vehicle... We have done more than what is required by law. I have attached signed buyers guide and asc warranty agreement documents
