We contacted the owner (John P*******) regarding purchasing a Large, Munsterlander puppy from his breeding operation on May 5, 2021 I was told that the females (two) were coming into heat in "any day" and would be available 8 week after the birth in mid-August 2021. We sent a $200 deposit on May 6, 2021 The litters were supposed to be available approximately 90 days after breeding (around mid-August). I contact Mr P******* by phone to request the litter status. He indicated that to his surprise neither female became pregnant? He assured me he had another female coming into heat "any day" and puppies would be available in January of 2022. I agreed to wait until January, 2022 for the next litter. I again contact Mr P******* (who did not know who I was, his customer) on October 29, 2021), nearing a dogs 90-day gestation period, only to be told he will not have any puppies. Mr P******* AGAIN he had two females coming into heat "any day". During this conversation I simply stated we were not willing to wait another 5 months and I would like to have our deposit back. Mr P******* first state he would not refund our money. I did not ague with him simply told him I would proceed with a BBB complaint and ended the conversation. He text message me back on October 29 @ 2:22pm, that he was sending my deposit back. No check arrived. I again contact Mr P******* on November 15 @ 2:49pm request the refund status. He stated he sent the check. No refund has been received by me. Today is December 1, 2021 and we still have not received a refund.Business response
