      I have been trying to reach the billing department at the Willoughby and Mayfield Heights location. I receive a bill but my insurance was never applied. I register my appointment online and provide my insurance information. I took my insurance card with me to the appointment and provide a copy. I have called and email both location and no one was returned my calls. I have insurance and do not want to pay out of pocket. I am not receiving past due notices.

      When starting my treatment plan at Dentalworks, I was giving the amount my insurance would pay and the amount that I was to pay. After each appointment I paid what I was told I needed to pay in order to not have a balance. When the claims were filed my insurance paid more than expected. I have been asking to be refunded the money I paid over the amount due since July 2021. My first appointment was January 2021. I have all of the receipts for each visit and how much they charged me as well as how much I paid. I also have the claim forms from my insurance company showing what they paid for each claim. I spoke with the manager Raianne who assured me she would look into the overpayment and refund me my money and after waiting a month I called back and was told she was unavailable. I have called at least once a month without success of reaching her nor has my money been refunded.

      In February of 2021 I had my wisdom teeth removed because they were impacted and the gums around one of them was inflamed. Dentalworks in Willoughby, OH ran my insurance at the time (******) and explained the cost breakdown to me and showed me different options that would slightly alter the cost such as anesthesia type used. In the end, I paid the cost in full, $1,918.80. I was mailed a subsequent bill for $625.20 with no explanation of the additional cost. I called dentalworks' billing office to inquire wherein the phone rang several times before hanging up on me. I repeated my attempt several times to no avail. This is a cost that I was unaware of at the time of service, that I still have no idea what exactly it is for, and that I therefore decline to pay the charge.
