I had a session scheduled Friday march 28, 2024 at 12pm. My child was rushed to the hospital on march 23,24 , the doctors let us know march 26,24 we would be admitted throughout the week. As soon as I got the information I called left a VM and emailed I would need to cancel due to family emergency. I was 70 hrs before the cancellation policy which is 72. I let *** know it was a family emergency and he proceeded to charge my card anyway even with documentation. I express my situation and he said there wasn’t anything he could do because appointment couldn’t be re filled so he had to charge me. I then emailed and said I would keep said appointment since my money has been deducted. He emailed back and said that was not possible? Not solution or effort.Business response

Our company has a cancellation/no-show policy you must agree with in order to make an appointment. If you cancel, reschedule or don’t show up within 72 hours of your appointment it is an automatic charge. As she stated she asked too late to cancel and unfortunately it’s an automatic charge that is set up with every client. The customer was mad about the charge but then said she will make it now. But the appointment was canceled already and other arrangements were made to that schedule. I explained to her she would have to schedule another appointment because I already canceled her appointment per her request. The phone call wasn’t received until 3/27 because she called during closed hours. Our policy is in place to protect our artists against situations just like this. And every client has to agree to these terms before an appointment can even be made. Everything is documented along with emails of this conversation.
