Government Action: BBB reports on known government actions involving business’ marketplace conduct:
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania v. Daniel Lloyd Sechriest - Docket Number CP-21-CR-0003001-2019

The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved.  We are providing a summary of the government’s allegations, which have not yet been proven.


A criminal complaint initiated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on Aug. 5, 2019 and filed in Cumberland County Common Pleas Court in Pennsylvania on Oct. 25, 2019, charged Daniel Sechriest with, among other things, with theft by deception and criminal use of a communication facility between 2014 and 2017 related to insurance claim activities involving his remodeling company US Restoration & Remodeling. 


In a statement submitted to BBB on Oct. 28, 2019, concerning the matter, Mr. Sechriest stated: "This said case in Pennsylvania is a pending matter. It deals with the fact that insurance companies simply do not want to pay what they should on claims. At this time 95% of the initial charges have all been dropped and we are just in the beginning stage of hopefully coming to a simple resolution with the state.”
