I contacted the owner Jasmine Pete on July 13 to book a hair appointment. It was already a hassle and run around just to confirm appointment for Monday July 17 at 10am. While trying to confirm appointment date and time the owner sent me a screenshot of someone following a complaint under her business page about her not sending someone their deposit back due to her canceling on the client which she thought was me. I informed her that that was not me,and she did confirm the appointment for Monday at 10 AM. Monday comes and she texts me at 9:43 AM stating that she’s going to be running a little late I said OK. Almost an hour goes by before she texts back and says that she’s not going to make it to the appointment and this is now at 10:43 AM. I informed her that I already had my day cleared for today and paid for a babysitter, and she insisted that I reschedule with a discounted price I informed her that I was not able to do so due to me already clearing my day for this appointment. She then says that she will send me my deposit back at $50 shortly. I texted her July 18 stating that I have not received my deposit back but I have not received a text or call or the deposit back from her. I continue to call her multiple times for about two days and I even went to her shop but the door was locked. It is now July 31 and I still have not received my deposit back or received any contact from her. I’ve noticed that this is a continuous thing with her with other clients as well and would like some thing to be done about this business.
