Hi,******************************* and I had secured moving help with your company yesterday. Phone number is **********. We were moving a total of 3 miles. *** truck when we left and arrived to the Uhaul station had three minutes more on the gauge. I am highly disappointed and dissatisfied with the services I received. I do not know the names of the two men that moved our home but the phone call in to us had the name ****************** I have moved this home and the exact *** contents 4 times now. ******** is a Veteran and we chose your company through the Uhaul for those purposes and I dont feel I have ever seen more disrespectful services. We had moved one time from ***** to ********** and it took 4 hours and the movers went up and down flights of steps. We parked the uhaul steps from the door this time. I spent $29.98 on good wrap for our furniture and the movers tore it off and removed the pillows. We also purchased furniture covers underneath they removed as well. My furniture is expensive furniture and we told them politely please to go easy. ***y removed the wrap sat it on the wet ground and the furniture is light colored. ***y punctured a hole in the bottom. I couldnt bare the sight of this so I walked away. *** older taller man who seemed to be the driver of their **** and in charge laughed and hit his what looked like vapor pen. He arrived wearing crocs. Wore the crocs the entire move. I have a handmade farmhouse table the drug on the ground. Making marks on the pavement even. I have a peloton bike I asked to please handle with easy and they rammed totes into the pedals so I spoke up. It took until 845 to even load the house for they didnt do it correctly. I never had this issue with moving by faith or any other company I had to use which I can look up their names. *** man never asked and ripped open the bag for the blankets which I noticed said remove seal and take blankets with a fee so I will be charged that. ***y left some of the blankets at home so I had to retrieve and take it U-Haul. ***y moved with no purpose. I unloaded many loads at the storage unit. I paid for movers and do the move. We left a majority of the stuff behind because we didnt trust them with the items. *** storage unit closed at ten so I had to hold the door open so we could get the items in. I have pictures of the contents and how it is placed. ***y threw things in there. Bed frame against my peloton. I am not one to complain but I had to also return my uhaul late and then spend my Easter morning driving back from ************ to **** to get the rest of the house and take it to the unit when it opened. Gas money, damaged good, extra fees, and so much stress. I had to be out of my rental today so I had no choice but to go back. For being a veteran owned company and reading your reviews I am appalled by the services I have received. This shouldnt have taken that long. ***y laughed at the mishandling of my items. I will go to the better business bureau and file a complaint. I would like to know what you can do to satisfy this. I refuse to hire your company when we move to our new home later this month. For using the veterans United process to secure a loan and move we are disappointed in this veteran ran moving company. I have been very upset all day but didnt want to call on Easter. ***re was also my dryer cord I had in a bag I found in a puddle on the ground after they left. I am not sure if these are your employees or if you found them for hire off the street but they came as if they were just found that way.Business response

Hello, as discussed on the phone we fully refunded your money for the move. We are at the time of year where we hire new employees and this was their first move cut loose from training. Both employees showed they do not have integrity and displayed values that do not reflect us as a company and therefore were terminated. We are deeply sorry for the headache we caused you.Customer response

I hired Fighting Chance Movers, LLC, because they said that they were a veteran owned. Im really not sure if they are or not. The two young men that showed up reeked of marijuana and kept on taking breaks, and would come back, smelling even more of marijuana. They worked slow and they were sloppy. They broke things and they stacked furniture on top of furniture without covering it, and also stole from me. It took twice as long as it should have, and they were very unprofessional. Also, they left items at my house, when I inquired as to where the ** was the worker said oh, I started to take it down, but then I forgot. It only has two more screws in it. You could probably take it down yourself with the screwdriver. But I told him this is what I paid them to do. There was no way I could Unscrew a ** and take it down off a wall! I had to bribe them each with $20 to go back to my house and take it down. And even then, they left all the hardware in the wall and didnt take that down! I had to hire somebody else to do it! When I tried to get in contact with the owner, *******************, I tried emailing, texting, ******** messaging and leaving him a voicemail, and he actually blocked me from contacting him. So that speaks volumes for sure! I hadnt moved in 35 years and it was a difficult move for me and they just made it that much worse! I regret very much hiring them, and wish I could have a do over! After I got in contact with the Better Business Bureau, I found out that they were not accredited, and that they had a C- rating. I trusted that they were a veteran owned and honest. And that turned out to be the case! I will always check with the Better Business Bureau now, making purchases or using any business or any major transactions.Business response

Hi ******! We apologize for the poor experience you had with our company. I have attached pictures as to refute many of your claims and show that we took great care of your items. My employees take pictures at every job to not only show me they are providing their best efforts and taking care of our customers, but also to protect against customers that try to make baseless and false accusations against us. We will not be returning any money to you for the job.
To start, I gave a fair estimate of 4 hours based upon the inventory list provided above. It was conveyed to me that you did not need any help packing and everything would be ready to go. When my employees arrived, they quickly realized you had over double the inventory you provided, along with having nearly every dresser and table covered in unpacked items that they had to move to be able to move your furniture (another picture attached of this for reference). You can count more than 25 "boxes" in the pictures of the loaded truck for reference, and that was one the truck had just began to get packed. As many of the items were not packed properly and not even in boxes, we do our best to work around such issues for the sake of the customers move, instead of outright denying the customer service like any major chain would have. You can also see that we had moving pads and plastic wrap on your furniture to protect it.
As for the supposed marijuana and stealing, I take accusations like this very seriously and because of the dishonesty of all aspects of this move from the start on your end, I am not able to properly inquire into this issue at the moment. I have never received any of those types of complaints about the 2 employees that completed your move (or any of my movers for that matter) and it seems with every phone call and review you left you added more to the story than what you had previously.
I can also gladly and easily provide verification of my veteran status and continuing military service if needed. We wish you the best of luck at your new home, and I also thank you for mentioning the BBB as I had no idea what it was or its significance prior (I'm 24 with no prior business experience) and I have began the steps to get accredited and improve my business!Initial Complaint

I hired them to move my house. They were suppose to send 4 guys and only sent 2 and that took to long woth only 2 guys. They didn't move everything and they left a TV at my old house that they broke and didmt tell me. When I went to the owner and told him he understood and said that's why they have insurance. We to date he has not made it right and I have emailed he offered 900 as they tv I bought 2 years ago cost 2k but understand value goes down. I accepted the offer then he got nasty and now will not respond.
