In April 2020, BBB received a call from a consumer in Newark, OH indicating he was canvassing her neighborhood, offering to cut tree limbs. He asked cut 1 limb with a bandsaw in less than 30 minutes and asked for $500.
In August 2018, BBB received a call from a consumer indicating Phil was still working in the Canton area.
In January 2018, we received a complaint from an elderly man and his mother in Canton, Ohio. Mr. Norman came to their door, then went in and used the bathroom, had a cup of coffee, told them he was owed $1400 for trimming a tree. They hadn’t asked him to trim the tree. They gave him the money.
In 2015, we received a complaint from a couple also in Canton (90 & 85 yrs old) who alleged he came to their door, told them he trimmed trees and asked for $325. They gave it to him.
BBB shared their files with the Ohio Attorney General on March 1, 2018 as their office had previsouly investigated him in July 2015.
