This company installed a brand new A/C unit 6 years ago. This year when it warmed up we tried to turn the A/C on and it didnt work. My girlfriend contacted the owner of the company, he came out and looked at the unit for maybe 5 minutes. He then proceeded to tell her it would cost upwards of ******* to fix the problems. When she informed him that the unit came with a 10 year parts warranty, he then told her that it looked like lightning struck the house or a power surge happened, frying the parts. She told him nothing like that has happened and nothing else electrical in the house has been damaged. He said he would work on the warranty company. After several attempts to contact him again, he never answered her calls. So, I reached out to him. He automatically turned defensive. He said, *** told her the same thing Im telling you! I dont have time to deal with this c*** Im not even a York dealer anymore. You need to find another service company to deal with! He hung up on me. Blocked my number. He refuses to answer any calls or voicemails. Very unprofessional individual and company. I have a reputable company coming to find the problem. If there is any difference in the solution between the two I will definitely be following up and pursuing this issue. I really dont want this man taking advantage of anyone else in the future and Id like to save anyone from having to deal with the character of this company.
