            I turned 60 on February 14th. I decided that I was going to start to take care of my teeth and made an appointment with MyDentist. Everything started off well, they have a lot of cool new technology. Then they set the trap. They told me that I need deep cleaning that would cost me close to $500. I told them, "that is cool, all I want is my teeth cleaned, as that is what insurance is paying for." Extortion was staring me in the face. They were holding my teeth cleaning hostage for the extra work they claim was imperative. My teeth cleaning was being held hostage! I walked out. I messaged back and let them know if they would simply clean my teeth, I would come back. They told me that I needed to make an appointment to talk to the doctor. This place has no business being in business. There is no telling how many people they extort during a day. For me, I fully understand that if they started to clean my teeth regularly, they would eventually catch up and I wouldn't be short the huge chunk of cash. Clearly they are more dedicated to lightening the load on people's wallets than medicine.
