Domino's Pizza #**** ************************************* Phone: #************ Order: #***. Date: 05/27/24 5:49 P.M.Orig Total: $40.11 Paid via PayPal Trans:#***************** Ordered online through my, *************************, account on Domino's App. When I began to check out, a promo popped up on screen from Domino's for "Add $3.00 ************* tip me $3.00 on order within so many ****** *** declined to participate in that. Afterwards, as I'm beginning to complete my order, an option comes up to make a selection on a tip ( 15%, 10%, etc. or no tip). It is noted that the tip portion of the order will process the following day. I don't like the idea of that, so I selected no tip and that I would pay the driver cash. Upon delivery, the driver had nothing for me to sign for using my PayPal. I asked him about usually signing for the use of my card and he said, "Sometimes it requires signature and sometimes not." So I accepted my pizza, tipped him $3.00 and that was that. I thought. On 5/29/24 I received an email from PayPal claiming I paid Domino's Pizza $45.11 Trans. #**B11474R***0645L. In referring to my original order info above, this is $5.00 more than my original order ***'m being billed "TWO" days later for "an additional charge." It states purchased items $45.11, original authorization $40.11, additional charge $5.00, Total $45.11. For one, I never authorized this whatsoever. How is this possible without my consent? I had no additional charge of $5.00 that I made or authorized to pay. I called the Domino's store directly & explained the issue. The gentleman asked if I included a tip *** said I declined to tip on my order. He told me that he reversed the charges, after he asked for my email address for PayPal. It is now 6/01/24 and no credit or reversal has posted to my PayPal account. Do they do this to all customers in hoping it's not noticed or when it is noticed they claim to reverse it, but don't, in hopes that you don't check? THIS IS ALARMING!

This is not our location we are in ** and some SC

Most Dominos are Franchisee owned so you have to locate your Domino's on the BBB by address and then put your complaint in

I unfortunately can not help you with this but i am sorry it happened and suggest you call Domino's corporate in MI or go online and put in a complaint to that location.

I am not necessarily rejecting this response; however, it looks like the BBB sent my complaint to the wrong individuals. They claim that the Domino's has to be looked up via their address or send the complaint to ********. So as far as I understand it, the next step would be for BBB to submit the complaint per their instructions.

What i am telling you is this complaint can't be handled by us, this is not our store

i am sorry the BBB does not do a better job at guiding people on how to put in a complaint, i myself have complained to the BBB about this i get a lot of complaints that are not ours and it is frustrating on our end as well.   BBB tells me that the customer is picking the wrong location to put the complaint on not that they are doing that.

I want to just inform consumers that the BBB system is not working and i am sorry for you and me who has to keep telling people i can't help them and then they don't get any help in resolving their issue.
