Our 2900 sq ft house was built with Denham in 2014. Not a good experience. He stated he could customize but each customization seemed like a hassle to him. My wife wanted to flip the stairs to come down near the front door rather than the garage door. We felt he was annoyed by this change since it also involved redrawing wear the powder bathroom was located. We asked for hard wood floors in certain areas and even drew on the floor plan the location BUT during the floor install, they were preparing a living room for wood floors. I called ***** who sounded arrogant that his guys were not installing in that room. I kept explaining to him what I saw to which he again sounded pompous with his replies. Not thanking me for my concern and saying the guys will get it right but still acting like a jerk, to simply state it.I found a gatorade bottle which has been placed way up in the wall and nailed 7 to 10 times within a fairly hidden space. It still had liquid in it. Not sure, but could have been something other than gatorade. I called *****, he tried to play it off that guys do those things. Rather than saying he would talk with them. He DID NOT apologize.I never wrote before due to just not worrying about it but felt the need to inform others to be cautious. Today, I found another surprise with our exterior decorative patio beams. The support beam was installed with a hole directly below the point of contact with the 3 beams coming down from the roof. This allowed water to penetrate and SIT below the 3 beams. There is wood rot extremely deep into the cross beam and at the base of the other 3 beams.My wife requested all front windows to have external wood shutters. He agreed. But when the bathroom window needed shutters, he asked for us to pay $75. He argued with me about the cost.He was not around to verify the craftsmanship. Many problems we encountered could have been fixed if he would have been on sight more often. Please be cautious with choosing *****.
